Takeisha, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.
I developed my confidence and self esteem by progressing through the years in my life, I learn to accept of who I am by acknowledging my personal strengths and talents and I always remind myself of them everyday. Then addition, I set goals that are realistic and working and achieving those goals. Also, I developed that skills by accepting my purpose and knowing of what I’m good at then overcoming that challenge by trying out new things and challenging myself,

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
There are a lot of things that I do, let’s just say I wear many hats and taking up all trades. Firstly, I developed a musical talent by teaching myself the piano and playing many instruments which was at the age of 12. At this age, I begin developing and training myself into classical music and this genre of music was my favorite. Also, as years passed, I started to learn how to program video games using programming languages such as java and c sharp. Then next I have became an author that I have written music books and made coloring books and people would buy them as well. In addition, I became an substitute teacher for my state which is Georgia, in this position I’m teaching elementary kids in grades kindergartner through 5th grades. Then also, I’m a music producer for Funktasy Records which is based out in Montreal, Canada, in which I get to work with so many great artists on the label.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
The three qualities skills or areas of knowledge that were mostly impactful in my journey are high self esteem, confidence, and following my heart and continue to do what I love that contributes to my journey. The advice that I have for folks who are early on their journey are never giving up and follow your heart as well as do what you love.

What was the most impactful thing your parents did for you?
The most impactful thing that both of my parents did for me are teaching me about life and how life should go and being happy with myself and don’t let no one tell me that I can’t do something and knowing that I’m capable of doing anything once I put my mind to it.
