Meet Talyn Fiore

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Talyn Fiore. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Talyn below.

Talyn, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?
I get my work ethic from my dad. He was the hardest-working person I have ever known. Nothing was impossible to him. In fact, the more out of the box, the better. He was the master at innovation. He dared me to dream as big as possible from as far back as I can remember. He believed with belief and hard work, anything was possible. He was a living example of this. He grew up poor, sometimes homeless with his mom and sister, and became a self-made millionaire. He didn’t believe in limitations and neither do I.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I have been so many things in my short 32 years. A party planner. Travel Agent for the Entertainment Industry. Corporate Sales. Actress. Waitress. Charity Fundraising. Interior Designer. Marketing/ PR. Writer. Screenwriter. Director. Production Assistant. Set Design. Props. Production Manager. Producer.

Which all led to my true calling as a Healer.

My life completely changed seven years ago when spirituality found me. I was in a deep depression, rock bottom, and the only choice I had was to reach for the light. I threw myself into a world of breathwork, meditation, self-help books, yoga, retreats, plant medicine, you name it.

Reiki started years later as a whisper. I did level 1 to heal myself, nothing more. During my training, it tapped a bit louder when intuitive messages came through for strangers. I brushed it off with no intent to make healing into a business. Yet, Reiki kept calling, showing up as a free healing space in my new home.

I listened and began Talynted Reiki on the side while I continued working in the entertainment industry in Los Angeles. My practice blew up what felt like overnight entirely by word of mouth. The Universe knew I was meant to be a healer.

After a year and a half, the signs were getting so loud that I could no longer deny my path. I received a message to leave LA and move to Sedona. I listened, sold my belongings, and moved somewhere I had never been. The journey that unfolded was absolute magic. I spent months in Sedona, shedding my old conditioned self and remembering my true essence. I received guidance to leave and spent six months traveling. Nine locations later, I landed in Ashland, OR, by completely Divine orchestrations—a place I now adore and call home. Once there, my entire business shifted to virtual and tripled. I now do 1:1 virtual containers and Reiki training, have a membership, and have a selection of digital healing downloads.

My healing practice has empowered dozens to remember their inner strength and excel to their dream lives.

I have impacted millions with Reiki on social media, and it still takes my breath away how the Universe uses me to help heal the world. This girl, who for so much of her life felt alone and unworthy, now gets to empower countless to their limitless worth.

I am happier, healthier, and more vibrant than I thought possible. My journey started with a spark and has become a mighty flame.

My healing practice is expanding this year with a project I have been working on for years called “Waking Up.” It is a three-part project. The first piece is a poetry book about waking up from darkness to one’s inner light. Using the catalyst of pain to heal and inspire. The black-and-white poetry book shows the contrast between the dark and light within all of us. The book is filled with original photographs I took and other artistic elements. The second piece is spoken poetry with original music from Shey Baba that we worked on for months. The tracks will be released on Spotify and limited edition vinyl. The third piece is a high-end art show in LA of framed photographs from the book and the two other elements.

My goal is that all three elements awaken compassion within the viewer for their emotions and inspire them to chase their dreams. The Waking Up Launch will begin in May.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
1. Self-development is number one. So many people ask for my help and want a quick fix, or a life they love, like mine, but truly doing the work is the only way. I consumed years of self-help books, courses, podcasts, retreats, plant medicines, therapy, reflection, and healing sessions to get where I am today. That includes daily practices of meditation, journaling, being active, and eating healthy.

2. Belief. You have to believe that no matter what you have what it takes to achieve your dreams. So much of life is consistency and commitment. It’s a marathon and not a sprint. If you never give up, you will make it to the top. Discipline is choosing what you want most over what you want right now.

3. Creativity. Creativity is my superpower. I have so many worlds for books, ideas for movies, and designs constantly floating in my head. I have always been in love with story. I it is the most valuable tool for teaching. That is why Jesus used parables. My goal is to empower millions through story.

My advice is to do the work to heal your subconscious wounds because they are a magnet for what shows up in your reality, to believe in yourself no matter what and to listen to your heart about what lights you up. That is your path. You deserve your dream life. It is your birthright.

What has been your biggest area of growth or improvement in the past 12 months?
Patience and trust. I used to be such a “do it myself’ person. I jump on a dream and devour it by going a millions miles a minute. I realized that my timing is not always Divine Timing. I rushed a few projects out in my life that did well but nothing near their potential because I rushed them.

I have learned not to wait for the right pieces to fall into place, no matter how long that takes. A year after I started Waking Up I was introduced to the brilliant musician that composed the music for the vinyl. If I had rushed it and hired any musican it wouldn’t have ended up as magnificent as it did. I almost ordered the vinyls for $5k on my own. Later I was introduced to a great couple that hooked me up with their press and now it’s going to be only $1.8k. The list goes on and on of being connected with the perfect people to elevate this project beyond my own abilities.

Now I set an intention based on a desire. I begin playing with the idea and see what pops up. Most importantly I listen to the subtle clues and guidance on what way to go. Once I am shown the way I pounce with inspired action.
