Meet Tamara Venher

We recently connected with Tamara Venher and have shared our conversation below.

Tamara, we’re thrilled to have you sharing your thoughts and lessons with our community. So, for folks who are at a stage in their life or career where they are trying to be more resilient, can you share where you get your resilience from?

Since childhood, I have been accustomed to relying on myself, and this quality helps me to this day, thanks to the fact that I know that I can do everything myself, I learned to think for myself and this helps me achieve various goals.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I have always been a creative person, since school I loved to draw school posters and make various handicrafts. Later, when I entered a law school, I often used presentations and video editing, and I realized that I could create something of my own. This inspired me to shoot videos about products and their composition, unpacking, how to use them correctly on my Instagram. I was amazed that my videos resonate with many people, they write to me and ask for advice, I have a community that understands me and we share advice. I realized that I can inspire other people with my skill.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

The best skill for me is to develop clarity of what surrounds me and to understand whether what surrounds you suits you. For example, since school I loved editing videos, and I love shopping, seemingly simple things for a person, but I realized that I can combine both, just reviewing things and in addition I get free goods for reviewing products. My dream came true, I always come up with new ideas for filming. It is also important to listen to yourself, if something is a burden, then it is not yours, if you do not like filming and editing, perhaps you like to bake something or play sports. You need to choose what your soul is inclined to.

Okay, so before we go, is there anyone you’d like to shoutout for the role they’ve played in helping you develop the essential skills or overcome challenges along the way?

I was very much influenced by the rapid development of Instagram and specifically in user content, it began to grow quickly and many of my friends at that time used this type of advertising. I relied on brands and popular music, each seasonal, studied trends and watched the editing of all sorts of celebrities to understand what people need and this bore fruit.
