Meet Tami Felder

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Tami Felder. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Tami below.

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Tami with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?

I get my work ethic from my dad.
He taught me that showing up matters—even when it’s hard.
That quitting isn’t an option just because things get tough.
That pride is found in doing your best, even when no one’s watching.
His hands may have built things, fixed things, or carried heavy loads—
But more than that, they showed me how to carry responsibility with strength and humility.
My work ethic?
It’s not just learned.
It’s inherited.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

I’m Tami Felder, owner of Xpress Events & Catering LLC, and I specialize in creating unforgettable experiences through elevated catering and custom grazing tables. What started as a love for food and hospitality quickly turned into a full-fledged business—and a passion that keeps growing.
At Xpress Events & catering llc, we do more than serve food—we create moments. Whether it’s a wedding, corporate event, or intimate celebration, we pride ourselves on making each event feel personal, stylish, and delicious. One of the things I’m most proud of is our grazing table and charcuterie artistry—which has earned us the nickname “The Grazing Table Gurus.” We’ve had the honor of being featured in wedding blogs, magazines, radio segments, and even catering for celebrity clients.
We also offer specialty items like our Boujee speciality Beverage Cart, Brunch Boards, and custom mobile setups to bring the full experience directly to our clients.
Right now, we’re focused on expanding our services across South Carolina, North Carolina, and Georgia, and are already booking into 2026!
At the heart of it all is this: your event is our passion. We love what we do, and it shows in every detail, dish, and display.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back, the three qualities that have had the biggest impact on my journey are resilience, attention to detail, and relationship-building.

Resilience taught me to keep pushing forward, even when challenges felt overwhelming. In the event and catering world, things don’t always go as planned, and learning to adapt quickly is key.

Attention to detail has been crucial in creating experiences that feel personalized and memorable. Whether it’s the perfect cheese pairing or the right floral accent, those little touches make a huge difference.

And relationship-building—with clients, vendors, and my team—has been the foundation for growth and trust. People want to work with those they know care deeply about their vision.

For those just starting out, my advice is to:
• Embrace setbacks as lessons, not failures.
• Develop a habit of meticulousness in your craft—it sets you apart.
• Invest time in networking and nurturing genuine connections—business is built on trust and community.

Keep learning, stay curious, and remember why you started. The journey is just as important as the destination.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?

Yes, I’m always excited to connect and collaborate with passionate people who share a commitment to creativity, quality, and community.

I’m especially interested in partnering with:
• Event planners and coordinators who want to elevate their clients’ experiences
• Local artisans and food producers who bring unique flavors and products
• Influencers and content creators who love sharing beautiful food and event moments
• Nonprofits and community organizations looking for catering partnerships or event support
