Meet Tami Goulet

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Tami Goulet. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Tami, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
I always knew I was meant for more in life than what I was living – wife, mom, daughter, sister, career professional, friend, lover, etc. But I had no idea how I even went about figuring it out as life kept getting “in the way”.

I mean, I read books, went to therapy when needed, talked with people, and constantly searched for that light, that one “aha” that would say in bright, shiny letters, “THIS is your purpose”.

But it certainly didn’t come to fruition that way.

In 2017 I was living a life that I had always thought I wanted. It was wonderful, amazing, excellent (keep going with all of the adjectives); I mean, I had a wonderful husband, a beautiful blended family, a beautiful home, a career that I was thriving in, wonderful parents, great friends to do things with, and yet, I. WAS. NOT. HAPPY.

I called myself a “functional depressive” as I kept going through all the motions of living with a smile on my face, most of the time anyway, but inside, I was dying! I was becoming less and less of a person and more and more like a puppet, a NUMB puppet.

I was becoming more and more afraid: to speak up, to be heard, to voice my opinion, of what someone else thought of me, of losing my job, of losing my husband, of losing this life that I always thought I had wanted.

I didn’t know what to do, where to go, or who to turn to. I just felt stuck and numb with nowhere to go. I felt like I was stuck in a glass box that kept getting smaller and smaller with chains weighing me down that kept getting heavier and heavier, and there I was screaming at the top of my lungs, but no one was hearing me, NOT. EVEN. ME.

I finally listened to my heart, body, and soul, and I slowed down.

Really, I had no choice; the Universe made sure that I truly leaned in and learned how to tune into and listen to my own inner intelligence, which led me to remember who I was at the core of myself, who I truly was, which then led me to my purpose.

This was not a pathway without its struggles, but the beauty, insight, and freedom that came from removing all of the external noise, chaos, and BS and remembering me, who I truly am, allowing myself to remember my passions, my desires, my hopes, and my dreams, and with all of this, remembering my purpose, I am forever grateful for the journey that has brought me to this point in my life where I am now able to live my purpose.

So, to fully answer the question, I didn’t FIND my purpose. I learned how to REMEMBER it.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I am now living my life of purpose as a Spiritual Intelligence Alchemist. I am helping guide individuals on how to tune into their own inner intelligence to remove the noise, chaos, and BS to live a life of clarity, calm, and confidence in co-creation with the Universe.

I absolutely love doing this work and helping people transform their lives from ones where they are just existing into ones they are thriving in and choosing to LIVE.

My goal when I work with individuals, either in groups or 1:1, is to help them to remember who they are at their core and to identify, understand, and accept what their definition of “a good life” means for them. Recognizing that their definition of success or abundance or love may be different than everyone else’s and that is perfectly okay! Helping someone fully accept themselves and allow themselves to live life the way they want to live, is so amazingly humbling to witness.

Watching my clients bloom and grow and expand into all they can be, is such an honor.

My company is called Speak Your Soul Magicks for a few reasons.

1) I want us all to learn how to “speak our soul” and how to come at life from a place of quiet confidence, where we don’t need to compete or judge each other. Where everyone is so quietly confident in who they are that they don’t feel threatened or worried when someone else doesn’t agree with them, doesn’t do something the same way, or sees something differently than they do. I know that this may seem insurmountable, but I do believe that if each person starts to know and live their own inner intelligence and allows others to know and live their own inner intelligence, the ripples will start spreading out, like a rock thrown into a smooth lake ripples all the way to the edges.

2) And as for the word “Magicks,” well, I believe that every single one of us is a magickal being and that there is magick all around us; we just need to recognize it. Also, I use both practical and magickal tools, tips, and methods to guide people in transforming their lives. This, too, is part of my purpose, bringing “magick” back into everyday life.

In my 6-month transformational and magickal C.I.R.C.L.E.* Method Program: A Treasure Map to Your Inner Intelligence – you will discover the tools and tips that you need to keep making lasting mindset shifts to be able to listen to your own inner intelligence so that you can set yourself up as the co-creator of your life. You won’t have to do this alone. I’ll be there with you, guiding you, holding your hand, offering support, and utilizing a mixture of practical exercises and energy work as we explore the Treasure Map of YOU. This program is a blend of the magickal and the practical.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
I think the three qualities that I had that were most impactful in my journey were an open mind, curiosity, and the refusal to settle when I knew there was more to life than what I was living.

My advice is multifaceted: always give yourself grace and understanding when you didn’t know then what you may know now. Don’t look back and beat yourself up for doing something when you didn’t know any better or different then. Learn from it and do the best you can moving forward. Next, always do the best you can in any given situation, and remember, your actions always have consequences – both good and bad, let’s try to err on the side of good. And finally, it’s okay not to see things the same way everyone else does. We are all unique, and we all have our own unique perspective on the world around us. Just don’t go enforcing your views and opinions on everyone else around you. Recognize and realize that what may be perfectly natural and normal for you may be totally foreign and difficult for someone else.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
I would love to have folks to collaborate with, connect with, and help transform lives with. I mean, who wouldn’t?!? 🙂

I am looking for like-minded individuals who specialize in personal development, spiritual development, life coaching, and holistic services, as well as individuals who sell crystals, herbs, and magical items for healing to partner up with for a collaborative relationship.

Ideally, I am looking for individuals to connect and collaborate with who understand that it’s not a competition and that there is enough of everything to go around. Individuals who are honest and who love helping others transform their lives.

I’m looking for individuals who have their own programs and offerings that would be seen as complimentary to my programs and offerings, where we could speak on each other’s platforms and in each other’s groups in a collaborative and healthy way, allowing our audience members to resonate with both or either of us.

I’d love to partner up with other professionals who love serving the individuals that I love to serve. Those who are self-aware and who know there is more to life than what they can currently see, touch, taste, smell, and hear. These beautiful souls have an open mind and want to know and better understand themselves and their purpose here on Earth. Basically, those spiritual humans who are ready to remember who they are at their core and live a life in co-creation with the Universe.

Behind the obvious benefits of a collaborative connection at the business level, from a personal and spiritual level, I love connecting with like-minded souls who provide new perspectives, new lessons, and new ways of looking at the world we are living in. Through our collaboration, we’ll be able to effect more change, reach more people, and have a bigger impact in the world. We will be able to empower each other, cheer each other on, and be each other’s sounding boards when life gets to be a bit too much.
