We recently connected with Tanique Tucker and have shared our conversation below.

Tanique , so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.

I developed my confidence and self esteem by removing toxic and negative people from
my life that was draining me and surrounded myself with the right people which caused a significant impact on my self esteem and confidence for the better. Struggling with Hirsutism since a very young age also caused my self esteem to be very low and depression was something that never went away. Overtime, I managed to uplift myself and make drastic life changes such as starting laser therapy, losing weight and utilizing skincare and makeup to build my confidence.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

Hi my name is Tanique I am the CEO of TK Beauty | Taneek Kozmetics, LLC. Our mission is to simply build confidence in all women but particularly women who struggles with hormonal disorders such as PCOS & Hirsutism. Our mission began when we felt the urgent need to make changes by boosting the confidence in women who struggles with hormone imbalances with our skin, hair and makeup products.. Struggling Hirsutism from a very young age, caused major depression and low self esteem. Overtime, I decided to take control of my confidence and self esteem by utilizing laser therapy, losing weight and being consistent with my skincare regimen.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

The most impactful part of my journey is knowing what my purpose is and the reason why I am doing what i’m doing. The advice I would give other people is to dive deep into who you are and take time to learn yourself to find your true passion and your true gift.

What do you do when you feel overwhelmed? Any advice or strategies?

When feeling overwhelmed, I will isolate to give myself time to recharge. One thing I know for sure is that we are just humans and we aren’t meant to work like robots. Give yourself grace and give yourself time to regain control. Meditation is a great tactic that I normally use when feeling overwhelmed or heading to the gym.
