Tanner, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?

Ah, good question- good ol’ Mom and Dad for me. I have such really incredible and really underrated parents. They’re so very humble but have achieved so much so I’d say they showed incredible examples of work ethic.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

The last couple years I’ve been very lucky to be spending a lot of time in front of the camera which as most red blooded Americans in the movie bizz is the #1 passion right, haha but it’s what drives me most in this business and can but hard to solely rely on that so to give myself a better hand on the steering wheel for this industry I created a production company called Silver Sail Entertainment many years ago and that has allowed me to create several jobs for not only myself but 100s of other yearly. With that in just the last year we’ve been able to produce FLUXX which is out now ÉGYPTE IV: Double Agenda The Series which is a comedy series on YouTube and two more features coming out soon, BLOOD BEHIND US and my 15 year directors cut of my first movie that I’ve revamped for 2015 called ONCE UPON A. TIME IN TEXAS – lot going on.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Listening is very important. Knowing you don’t have all the answers and being your own biggest fan because you gotta believe in yourself to be an artist in this industry

The Count of Monte Cristo is a book that teaches so many things but one is to believe in yourself, and never stop believing in the divine. For me that our lord and savior Jesus.
