Hi Tanya, really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?

Discovering My Purpose as a Permanent Makeup Artist
My journey began when I faced the challenge of losing my brow hairs and sought a solution. Through my search, I came across “microblading” and decided to try it out. The excitement I felt after the appointment sparked an idea – I could master this art and provide various services like tattooed areolas for breast cancer survivors, eyebrow tattoos for those with alopecia or undergoing chemotherapy, eyeliner tattooing, lip tattooing, and scalp micropigmentation for thinning hair. These services bring joy to people, so I pursued training in all of them and continue to stay updated with the latest trends. I also offer classes to train students interested in the art of permanent makeup.

Chasse Permanent Makeup operated in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania for 12 years before relocating to Rockport, Maine, as my husband and I returned to my home state. Our move was driven by the desire to construct our dream home and reside in the forest on a spacious 9-acre property. During the tiny home construction phase last year, we resided in a modest 12′ by 14′ tent with our two cats for six months. The outdoor shower and kitchen brought me great joy, and living amidst nature was a truly enchanting experience.

Currently I enjoy going to work on the beautiful coast of Rockport, Maine. Chasse Permanent Makeup studio offers a wide range of services, including Scalp Micropigmentation for thinning hair and Eyebrow microblading. We also offer powder brows for sparse or non-existent brows, tattooed designer eyeliner, lip tattoo, beauty marks, and tattoo removal. Additionally, Chasse Permanent Makeup provides 3-D Areola Tattoo services for breast cancer survivors, sometimes as gifts. Drawing from personal experience with breast cancer, I deeply understand and empathize with these clients. With extensive training, expertise, and a keen eye for detail, the focus is on delivering top-notch results for clients. Permanent makeup can enhance key features for a more youthful appearance or restore features lost due to aging or other circumstances. Collaborating with clients with conditions like Alopecia or working with breast cancer survivors to recreate 3-D Areolas are some examples of the meaningful work done. Chasse Permanent Makeup also offers classes in Permanent Makeup Tattoo, including one-on-one training or small group sessions of up to four individuals. All of the services are offered in Maine, my home state.

The person who has been most instrumental in assisting me in overcoming obstacles and acquiring the necessary skills, qualities, and knowledge for success is my husband, Leszek. He is always there to listen to me, whether I need to vent or brainstorm new ideas. His guidance and unwavering support have been invaluable in all my entrepreneurial pursuits.
