Tanya M. , so great to have you with us and thanks for taking the time to share your thoughts with the community. So, let’s jump into something that stops so many people from going after their dreams – haters, nay-sayers, etc. We’d love to hear about how you dealt with that and persisted on your path.
Haters, well I don’t see them. And if and when I do. I use the negativity as a catalyst to positively change the narrative. Negative people only have the power we give them. Setting positive boundaries for myself has always been a helpful attic to keep me focused when dealing with any form of negativity. Also I realized that negativity is just apart of the plan of life. Just as darkness needs sunlight to be noticed. Negativity is the backdrop whereby we notice and get to become positive.

Prophetess Tanya Baker aka The Spiritual Life Coach is a motivational speaker, celebrity & spiritual life coach to the stars. She is an author and serves as co-pastor of The Incredible Church located in Dallas, Texas. Pastor Tanya Baker has a heart for the people of God and she uses her coaching skills to steer people toward positive living. Working through social media, books, and the preached word, Pastor Baker is a highly sought-after motivational speaker and power-packed orator of the Word of God. As a business leader, she fortified her skills in team leadership, motivation, and coaching. She maintains a consultative coaching style based on extensive interviewing and hiring experience. She is also the former Co- Pastor of The Incredible Church. The current CEO of Prophetess Tanya M Baker Ministries, AVP in Banking and the Senior Leader at Tabula Rasa Life Center. She is a corporate coach and a sought-after preacher’s coach. Pastor Baker earned a degree in interdisciplinary studies with an emphasis on psychology from the University of Texas Arlington and a BA in theology at DBU in Dallas, with additional studies at Tarrant County Community College (major in psychology), Cedar Valley College (certification in real estate), and Milwaukee Area Technical College’s business administration BA program.. Pastor Tanya Baker being concerned for the overwhelming number of women and girls going missing created Snatch. SNATCH is a organization for girls affected by the sex trafficking industry.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Reach One – Always reach back to pick someone else up. This is what we were created to do. Leave no man or woman down.
Teach One – I am who I am today because great men and woman of God took time to teach me things that I needed to become who I am today. Without their leadership and the coaching of others I would have missed so much in life. I would have failed in areas where others successfully navigated through; now having the needed information to help me succeed. We are as great or greater than our teachers. And none of us can become our total selves without good mentorship.
Release One – I believe that I was created by God to be a vehicle whereby other women and men can become their best self. Through my coaching I help people let go, heal and build through Godly principles that empower them to live their best lives. Most importantly I am creating a Godly blueprint for others to be positive change in the world through leadership and life experiences survived.
One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
As I continue to be a light and a catalyst for the positive change in the lives for others. I hope to partner with other creatives, business leaders, coaches and more to help empower others. Again it takes a village and the village is the safe haven for the newbies who will come through the paths many of us have already travelled needing guidance. They will become greater than who we are. So collaboration is key, and it is how we widen our reach. It is having the ability to provide a vast amount of support to the collective whatever that looks like. No one wants to walk through life unsupported and alone. Real leaders connect, build and partner to make the team great. I want to partner with media outlets, non-profits and organizations for women, men, homeless, the youth and more. I hope to spread myself as far as I can to promote healthy outcomes in the lives of others who need to be lifted; while spreading the message of love through Jesus Christ.
