Meet Tass Banks

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Tass Banks. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Tass below.

Tass, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?
Personally, I’m already an obsessive-compulsive person. When I see the word “imperfect,” I see “I’m Perfect.” Being routined and very strategic is my life. I do everything in my power to exceed expectations. My work ethic comes with ease.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I identify as a Business Professional because I wear many hats. I am a certified Notary Public and Tax Preparer. I will soon add Real Estate and Insurance Agent to my certifications. So please be kind and keep me in mind. Additionally, I assist small business owners with organizing their business. This goes as far as helping with processes and structure, branding/marketing, business grants/loans and bookkeeping. I assist individuals wanting to legally structure a new business. With my business start up services, I design blueprints specifically to the individuals’ needs to succeed and grow. As a whole, I provide business and finance solutions.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Taking a look back into my past, I feel that consistency, trust and resilience are all qualities that has been most impactful to me along the way. If I could give any advice on how to handle any roadblocks while on your journey, it would be to keep going. Consistency is really key in all aspects of business. There is always going to be something to try to stop you but you only fail when you quit. Stay on top of your purpose!

Is there a particular challenge you are currently facing?
I’ll be the first to admit, I am camera shy. Getting into marketing, I have analyzed that reels, TikToks and all things social media helps a company to grow. The exposure is up the charts (if you’re doing it right). My biggest challenge right now is getting in front of the camera. I am finding ways to embrace and not be so critical of myself. Ironically as it sounds, I do not lack confidence. It’s just the perfectionist in me that sees one small error and the whole content is cancelled. I have started by scheduling a marketing day at least every two weeks out of every month. On these days, I will do as much content creating as I can while feeling like my best self. You know the saying, “when you look good, you feel good.”
