TATIANA, so many exciting things to discuss, we can’t wait. Thanks for joining us and we appreciate you sharing your wisdom with our readers. So, maybe we can start by discussing optimism and where your optimism comes from?
Throughout my life I have learned to face difficulties with resilience, each of my personal and professional achievements has taken time, effort and determination. This is something I definitely inherit from my family, my roots.

Looking at each day with gratitude is key in how I face each day, knowing that each difficulty or failure is just an opportunity to take new paths and continue with optimism is one of my favorite qualities.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I am a newborn and family lifestyle photographer who discovered this wonderful world of images 9 years ago with the birth of my nephew. I remember being given my first camera and I simply couldn’t stop capturing the most beautiful aspects of life with it, I took courses in Peru and had professional training with incredible newborn and family photographers there.

Now, after eight years photographing babies and families in Peru, I am settling in New York and opening my studio to families in the Westchester area offering a divine space where I capture the most adorable memories. Having a minimalist and organic style differentiates me from what you usually see on the market. I like to focus on who is in front of my lens rather than props or accessories. My goal is to capture the bond between you and your loved ones more than traditional smiling face images.

Although my credential and specialization is newborn photography, I have extensive experience working with families and children as well. I offer newborn, pregnancy, maternity, family, cake smash and professional portraits as part of my artistic offering.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Observation Determination
Consistency

I believe that one of the virtues necessary to start down the path of photography is having passion for what you do.

Only by loving what you do will you feel that need to go for what you want, achieve your goals, learn, observe and be constant in your work.
Only by loving what you do, this stops being just a job and becomes your passion.

What’s been one of your main areas of growth this year?
Moving from Peru to New York has been an incredible challenge for me. Leaving an established career behind has been one of the most difficult decisions I have ever made. Starting from scratch puts you in a position of uncertainty and sacrifice that is not easy to endure, but with the support of my family, my partner and friends who trusted me, I can say that now I feel more on track with my projects.
