Meet Taylor Bennett

We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Taylor Bennett a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Taylor , really happy you were able to join us today and we’re looking forward to sharing your story and insights with our readers. Let’s start with the heart of it all – purpose. How did you find your purpose?
I love this question because it gives me a chance to check in with myself—to see where my mindset is and honor how far I’ve come in both my creative and personal journey. I believe one’s purpose is ever-growing, constantly evolving as you align your path with intention. As you put action behind your ambitious thoughts, you get closer to identifying your aligned purpose for that specific era of your life.

Right now, as the Founder of an independent publishing house and creative agency—and as someone who travels the world learning new languages and ways of living—I believe my purpose is to be a connector of people and a bridge of creativity for young, ambitious individuals globally. I aim to use the privilege and platform I have to inspire others to take leaps of faith, build with one another, and strengthen the creative ecosystem around us.

I’ve seen this play out through TFB events, where people often end up networking and collaborating on new projects. I’ve had creatives thank me for creating these spaces—spaces that led to their work being showcased through TFB in the EU, the US, or even during NYC Fashion Week for designers like Son Jung Wan. That’s when I knew this work had a real impact.

As creatives, we grow by challenging our minds and learning from different cultures and perspectives. A lot of opportunities are locked behind closed doors—so we’re curating our own rooms. And for that, we need community!

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I’m a creative visionary with a deep passion for sustainability and conscious consumption in the fashion industry. As the Founder and Creative Director of TFB Magazine—a bi-continental, independent publication—I specialize in curating compelling narratives that celebrate creativity, diversity, and innovation.

With a background in styling, PR, and creative consulting, I’ve built a platform that bridges the U.S. and EU fashion scenes. TFB Magazine empowers sustainable brands and creatives to share their authentic stories across borders, and that’s what makes the work so exciting to me—we’re not just telling stories, we’re building legacy.

Right now, we’re launching our second issue: TFB Magazine Issue 02 – “The Accent Issue.” This edition celebrates the overlooked details that define editorial fashion—hair, nails, makeup, tooth gems, and grills. These accents shape culture, beauty, and self-expression in ways that often go unrecognized. This issue puts them front and center, with featured talent from Amsterdam, Los Angeles, and Atlanta.

Following a successful launch in Amsterdam (with incredible partners like Reale Communication, Because of JoaN, Sila Table, Sokol Vodka, Magasin Plus Couleur, Harlow Muse, and Yusu Selectors), we’re bringing The Accent Issue to Atlanta on April 26, 2025 at Factor’s Collection in Little Five Points.

Where to Find Issue 02:

Amsterdam: Athenaeum – Junk Amsterdam – Revive Haarlem (available late April)

Atlanta: Factor’s Collection, in-store & during launch

But TFB Magazine is more than a publication. It’s a platform that connects creative communities across Amsterdam, Atlanta, Los Angeles, and New York. Through storytelling, collaboration, and cultural curation, we spotlight the artists shaping our world from behind the scenes.

TFB Collective
A Boutique Publishing House & Editorial Studio Curating Legacy-Driven Print Across Fashion, Culture, and Creativity.

At TFB Collective, creativity is both a catalyst and a compass. Founded by me, Taylor Francis Bennett, the platform started as a space to connect emerging talent and has since grown into a full-fledged creative ecosystem—one that uplifts, documents, and celebrates creativity in all its forms.

We have two core branches:

TFB Studios: Our creative agency supports a global network of freelancers—graphic designers, creative directors, stylists, photographers, writers, and multidisciplinary artists. We offer creative consulting, pitch materials, and brand identity support that helps unlock global opportunities.

TFB Magazine: Our in-house publication pushes boundaries by highlighting all realms of creativity—especially the ones often overlooked. Our motto is: We are not here to conform, we are here to create.

Each issue acts as both a cultural artifact and a creative time capsule.

Through our publishing services, we now offer full creative direction and support to those ready to turn their stories into print. Whether it’s a mini zine, a full magazine, or an archival storytelling project, our team curates with care and intention.

These services help fund our free workshops, events, and community activations in cities like Amsterdam, Atlanta, New York, Los Angeles—and soon, Florianópolis.

Our mission is to connect and amplify generations of visionaries across fashion, art, and culture—using print as a tool for legacy, innovation, and impact. We believe print isn’t dead—it’s being reborn, and we’re honored to be part of its creative resurgence.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Even though I’m still early in my creative journey—only about three years in—I’ve already discovered a few qualities that have been deeply impactful. Now, I’m in no way perfect, but I am learning and growing with these qualities in mind:

1. Balanced Self-Reliance
I’ve learned the importance of depending on myself, but not in a way that isolates me. It’s about having enough self-trust to move forward even when the vision isn’t clear, while still being able to ask for help along the way. No one likes a leader who can’t take in suggestions—because how can you lead a team if you don’t know how to depend on yourself or listen to others when needed? For me, it’s about holding both independence and humility through love and understanding of self.

2. Self-Respect
Having self-respect as a creative is huge. When you respect your own time and work, you’re way less likely to disrespect someone else’s. It helps you set boundaries and protect your energy, which is essential when you’re building something from the ground up.

3. Practicing Gratitude
It’s easy to feel like you’re not doing enough, especially in creative fields. But when you’re grounded in gratitude—for the ability to create and to learn more about yourself through that process—you’re less likely to compare your journey to someone else’s. Gratitude helps me stay centered in my own path and keeps me from rushing or forcing things that aren’t aligned.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
Yes, I am always open to partnering and collaborating with like-minded individuals and organizations. TFB Collective is all about building connections and fostering creativity, so we’re particularly interested in working with conscious fashion brands that prioritize sustainability and inclusivity, as well as cultural institutions or art collectives that celebrate underrepresented voices in the creative space.

We are also open to collaborating with creative agencies, independent bookstores, and lifestyle brands that share our vision for community-driven art and culture. I believe in the power of collaboration, especially with those who are passionate about pushing boundaries, telling authentic stories, and amplifying the work of emerging creatives.

If you are interested in collaborating, I would love to hear from you! Feel free to reach out through our social media @tfbcollective | @tfbmag or via our website at www.tfbcollective.com to start a conversation about how we can work together to create something impactful.
