We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Taylor Davis. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with TAYLOR below.

TAYLOR, we’re thrilled to have you sharing your thoughts and lessons with our community. So, for folks who are at a stage in their life or career where they are trying to be more resilient, can you share where you get your resilience from?

If found that approaching resilience as a skill, something that takes time to develop and refine has been incredibly beneficial. Resilience is ever evolving because life is full of challenges and stress. With every challenge or hurdle thrown at me I reframe it as an opportunity to sharpen my resilience. Finding a way of being comfortable in the uncomfortable moments of life is hard but crucial.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

CLR Los Angeles blends luxury with fun. Balancing mesmerizing fragrances and innovative
design, CLR is redefining the fragrance market. Founded in 2020 by Taylor Davis, CLR offers a
candle for every person, clr and mood. Made entirely in Los Angeles founded entirely by people
of clr, women, or LGBTQIA team members, A favorite song evokes emotions. So does a
favorite scent. At CLR, we believe a favorite clr can do this as well, so we’ve developed a
collection of clrs at the heart of every mood.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

1) Your gut and intuition are vital

2) If a task can be done in less than 5 minutes do it immediately, don’t put it off.

3) Information is so powerful. Don’t be afraid to ask questions!

What do you do when you feel overwhelmed? Any advice or strategies?

When I’m overwhelmed I seek out the constants in my life. Phone calls with my family or close friends, rewatching shows I love or tending to my garden. I love to find the outlets in my life that consistently make me happy and reflect who I am and what shaped me as a person. Simple pleasures in life remind me who I am and help harness where my drive and inspiration come from.
