Meet Taylor Diebold

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Taylor Diebold. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Taylor with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
I’m certain that my work ethic comes from being raised by parents who worked hard my entire life to make sure I had everything I needed. They worked jobs they didn’t want to at times but it helped build their resume and get them where they are now. They always showed me it’s important to work for the things you want and to provide for yourself.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
Pawsitivity is a brand for dogs and their owners that helps donate to rescues and shelters. I sell personalized portrait pet apparel, dog bandanas, decals, and more. I also throw local dog events to help raise awareness for the rescues in my area, help dogs get adopted, and raise money for the essential items they need to give these pups the life they deserve while searching for their forever homes. I get to meet so many good people but most importantly I get to meet the sweetest dogs and take the cutest photos of them. (My phone is mainly my dogs and strangers dogs haha)

I have a few events scheduled for the rest of the year at a local brewery in Clayton, NC.
Dog Days of Fall | Sept. 24th, 1-4 PM
Barktoberfest | Oct. 13th, 6-9 PM
Pupsgiving | Nov. 16th, 5-8 PM
Deck the Paws | Dec. 9th, 1-4 PM

I have Fall items on the shop already and the rest will continue to roll out over the next few weeks, and I will be adding colors to the portrait apparel listing 🙂

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Learning not to take everything personally, and work hard on what you believe in. Knowing how to do your own taxes is very important, use the tools of the internet to help you track expenses.
Be outgoing, show people why you started a business and why you are passionate about it!

How can folks who want to work with you connect?
I would love to expand where I host my dog events. Any business owner who is as obsessed with dogs as I am and would like to have a dog event but you’re not sure where to start, let me know!
