Meet Taylor Michelle Ivey

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Taylor Michelle Ivey. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Taylor Michelle , we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?

I began developing my self- esteem and confidence at a very early age and have never been afraid to go after what I want. As I grew into womanhood the more I understood my purpose and knew that doors beyond my wildest imagination would open for me. I have always been a go getter type of girl and been authentically myself. This has helped drive my passions and dreams. I’ve always been open to practicing new behaviors that help me grow and mature as an individual. These components of my confidence and self-esteem was developed in two parts. First, writing down my goals and aspirations helped me keep a clear mind and decipher with knowing what I want and accomplishing it. Second, I’ve been extremely fortunate to benefit from excellent mentorship. I am grateful that I now get to pay this opportunity forward.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

The three qualities, skills and areas of knowledge that were most impactful in my journey are an unflappable mindset, my ability to seamlessly anticipate the needs of my clients and master pre and postnatal care for mom and baby.

The most essential piece of advice that I give to aspiring entrepreneurs is to research and write down the first 10 steps that are required to get started in their industry of choice. I encourage them to follow their checklist, never skip any steps and ask for help along the way.

How would you describe your ideal client?

My Ideal client is a family who is welcoming their first or subsequent child to the world and understands the benefits of professional postnatal care and guidance.
