Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Taylor Radway. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Taylor , we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?
I didn’t build my confidence through success — I built it through failure.
That might sound unusual, but it was in those moments of failure that I realized something powerful: as long as you stay committed to learning and growing, you’ll always have the ability to evolve and improve. That mindset gave me the confidence to pivot, adapt, and take on any challenge that came my way.
There were times — in both personal and business relationships — when people tried to shake that confidence, to take it from me. But over time, I’ve developed a level of self-belief that can’t be broken. Affirmations, self-talk, and a commitment to mental resilience have been key in keeping my confidence sharp, even when life throws punches.
It’s important to recognize the line between confidence and cockiness. Confidence is magnetic — it’s believing in your ability without tearing others down. Cockiness, on the other hand, is rooted in insecurity and often shows up as arrogance or a need to prove something. True confidence doesn’t need to shout — it speaks for itself.
Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I wear a lot of hats — entrepreneur, marketer, creative strategist, and father — but at the core of everything I do is one mission: to build brands, businesses, and people that leave a legacy.
I run The Radway Group, a high-performance marketing and consulting agency that helps brands grow through a mix of bold traditional strategies and cutting-edge digital tactics. We work with everyone from local startups to national companies, helping them clarify their message, connect with their audience, and generate real, measurable results. I’m also involved in multiple ventures across SaaS, security, sports and entertainment, and the creator economy — I don’t believe in limiting potential. (find out more at www.TheRadwayGroup.com)
What excites me most is the ability to bring big ideas to life. I love helping businesses unlock momentum, whether it’s doubling walk-in traffic for a local dispensary or crafting a social monetization plan for a world champion fighter. Every client, every project, is an opportunity to create something that actually moves the needle.
One of my biggest personal passion projects right now is my work as a contributor on a locally-aired sports betting show on Fox KDVR. My segment focuses on MMA and UFC news and betting insights, and it’s truly where I feel in my element — combining my love for the sport with my love for media. I find my happiest place in front of the camera, especially when I’m talking fights. (Check out our YouTube page at https://www.youtube.com/@denversportsbetting)
Right now, I’m especially excited about a few major moves — I’m in the process of acquiring a large security company based on the East Coast and building out a podcast called Legacy & Leverage, which will cover everything from entrepreneurship and marketing to fatherhood and combat sports.
My brand is rooted in real results, relentless learning, and never playing small. Whether I’m consulting a client, designing a campaign, or mentoring someone in business, I lead with vision and back it up with execution.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Looking back, the three most impactful qualities in my journey have been:
1. The ability to pivot.
Things rarely go exactly as planned. Whether in business or life, adaptability is everything. Being able to adjust quickly when circumstances shift is a superpower — it keeps you in motion when others freeze.
2. Relentless perseverance.
This ties closely to pivoting, but it deserves its own spotlight. Too many people quit just before they would’ve seen success. Refusing to give up — even when things get uncomfortable, uncertain, or slow — has made all the difference in my life.
3. A constant pursuit of knowledge.
This applies to both personal and professional growth. The hunger to get better, to learn more, to evolve — that mindset separates those who plateau from those who lead. We all have room to grow, and that truth should inspire you, not intimidate you.
If you’re early in your journey, remember: it’s a journey — not a shortcut. It won’t happen overnight, but if you stay consistent, one day it’ll feel like it did. Work, works. Keep showing up. Keep learning. Keep moving. The results will come.
Alright, so before we go we want to ask you to take a moment to reflect and share what you think you would do if you somehow knew you only had a decade of life left?
If I knew I only had a decade left, I’d dedicate that time to cementing a legacy for my son — something he could carry with pride and strength long after I’m gone. As a single father, every day would be an opportunity to show him the world, both literally and figuratively. We’d travel, experience different cultures, and create unforgettable memories together.
I’d also challenge myself to meet someone new every day, to listen, connect, and leave a mark — even in small moments. My goal wouldn’t just be to live fully, but to impact deeply. At the end of those ten years, I want to be remembered not just for what I built, but for how I made people feel, and for the positive ripple effect I left in my community and beyond.
