Meet Taylor Shiff

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Taylor Shiff. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Taylor below.

Taylor , we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.

My purpose as an entrepreneur comes directly from my husband and children. They’ve been my greatest source of motivation and support. Knowing that I’m building something that not only reflects my passion but also creates a better future for my family has driven every decision I make. Their belief in me gives me the confidence to take risks, stay focused, and keep growing as an entrepreneur.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

Through bodywork, Reiki, sound healing, fine line tattooing, semi-permanent makeup, and esthetic services, I help clients reconnect with their bodies and confidence. One client, who had long felt disconnected, left saying, “I feel like myself again.” Moments like that remind me why I do this—to help people feel at home, beautiful, and fully comfortable in their own skin.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Looking back, three qualities have been most impactful for me: empathy, adaptability, and creative skill.
Empathy allows me to truly understand my clients’ needs and create a safe space for them to feel comfortable in their own skin.
Adaptability has helped me navigate the many shifts in business and client needs, from bodywork to semi-permanent makeup and sound healing.
Creative skill—whether in artistry, esthetic services, or healing techniques—enables me to craft experiences that are both transformative and personal.
For those early in their journey, my advice is:
Cultivate empathy by listening deeply and observing without judgment. It’s the foundation of meaningful connections.
Practice adaptability by embracing change and seeing challenges as opportunities to grow.
Hone your craft consistently—take classes, experiment, and seek feedback. Skills improve through intentional practice, and creativity blossoms when you give yourself permission to try new things.
The combination of heart, flexibility, and skill will set you up for a purposeful and impactful path.

Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?

The people who have been most helpful in my journey are my husband and children. Their belief in me, encouragement, and support have been the backbone of my ability to face challenges and keep growing. They’ve given me the confidence to take risks, the patience to develop my skills, and the reminder that my work is meaningful—not just for me, but for the people I serve. I newly received training in fine line tattooing and I have rediscovered my passion in body art work and enjoy people feeling comfortable in their own skin as well as expressing themselves through art.
