Hi Taylor, so happy to have you on the platform and I think our readers are in for a treat because you’ve got such an interesting story and so much insight and wisdom. So, let’s start with a topic that is relevant to everyone, regardless of industry etc. What do you do for self-care and how has it impacted you?
As an Empath and Highly Sensitive Person, self-care is a non-negotiable. In fact, I focus on creating a self-care lifestyle to fill my cup FIRST. Picking up energy and emotions from others, it’s been a critical lifestyle to learn and now teach to others. While the practices themselves are simple, it’s hard to learn how to choose your wellbeing first in today’s society. I practice many things for self-care: nature-connected living – living in tune with the rythyms and pace of the earth, energy management – knowing how to move the energy I take on as well as my own, boundaries and investing in support are some of my favorite self-care practices.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
After five years of being in my business, Harmonious Return, it’s been through many iterations. And at that five year mark, I really am settling in to the space I am completely ALIVE and EXCITED about. Helping empaths (or HSPs) who are quietly struggling with anxiety, depression, ADHD or addiction through creating lasting wellness lifestyles. One of my main pillars is co-creating with the earth, so natural support for these struggles is what I specialize in. Those of us who are looking to fix the root issues we have through habits and mindset vs masking with a pill. I am excited that I am about to launch my first mini-herbal product line for mental/emotional support for highly sensitives, anxiety, depression and addiction. Empaths typically get beaten up in today’s chaotic energy and I’m excited to guide them to a more vibrant and sustainable way.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
The three most important qualities to truly thrive naturally as an empath are:

1. Investing in help
2. Consistency
3. Knowing yourself… thru Human Design

Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?
This is such a great question and you’re going to think I have the biggest head on the planet. HA!

But honestly, I have been the most helpful in overcoming the challenges. As an empath, we often think we have to stay as this meek, sensitive person and hide our true selves in order to survive. And when I finally learned that I needed to be the one to take my wellness in my hands – was the moment everything changed. Sure, I invest heavily into support, but I am the one making that decision that I come first… not last.
