Meet TD KASH

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to TD KASH. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

TD, we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?
Easy, but not so easily. See I come from a small city yet so big and overseeing how everyone operates with any talent or upcoming talent was a big step for me. The fact that most people won’t even pay attention to you because of who you are or if you’re not as big far as known plays a major part in starting anything really. My city specifically has it rough when it comes to acknowledging new talent based off who’s hot or have attention already in town. It’s not a bad way to look at it but at the same time it should have room to separate a person’s reasoning of having a popular name aside from those with actual talent as well. I took all these things with not having the biggest name and having the talent that I have an said to myself, “ this is you, this is what you want, this is who you are.’’ With knowing that I walk with my head high. I know the capability I have and I also inner-stand the drive that keeps me going. I am the only and only TD KASH and I am coming LIKE NO OTHER.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
You can call me TD, KASH, or TD KASH. I’m From Memphis, TN born an Raised. Im Originated and based in Des Moines, Iowa. When I say originated I’m saying that’s who and when I became TD KASH. I’m a Decently known Musician i now do rap, hip hop, afro, trap, & r&b. Music is a way of life. I found the passion years ago, like once I picked up a pen and started writing it’s like I couldn’t stop! I built up my ego, I crafted my work and now when I perform you’d think I been in the big leagues with the industry artist. I take on my career as if I’ve already made it. If you want something you gotta go after it so when you do something you must do it like you’ve already done it. I’m now working on me more as a musician as I have the knowledge of knowing that it is always room to grow. I have some new projects on the way, my first ever Mixtape called “FAW’’, a few singles along with some new visuals. At this time now I have not had anytime to break. At this time now I have figured it out. At this time now I HAVE ARRIVED.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
For me I never separated my quality from my skill. To me personally my skill set is something that has quality within itself. I like crafted work with that takes skills don’t lose me now with having skills it still has to have you best quality of work. Go master your work, perfect your craft no matter what type of work it is you may be doing. With having a passion for something comes payment even though some knowledge is free to gain other knowledge from some good people usually requires payment. At a point in time you have to be willing to pick and choose your moments in being a risk taker. We all win and lose so inner-stand that you will have to be dedicated to what you’re stepping into. Always be willing to do things for the success of you career path.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?
I’m looking to collaborate with a select few artists that I really find amusement in all while listening to the sound of their music. Artists such as Moneybagg Yo, Yo Gotti, Lil Baby, YFN Lucci, Rich Homie Quan, Kevo Muney, Don Trip, Co Cash, & 42 Dugg. They can find me on any of my social platforms. They are my direct contacts no one has these platforms other than me, myself. The musicians listed are the artists that I listen to the most an never get tired of listening to. I know that any collaboration with anyone of these musicians from me will be something great to see happen and with my sound will impact differently from along time coming.
