Meet Team Aquarius

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Team Aquarius. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Team Aquarius , so excited to talk about all sorts of important topics with you today. The first one we want to jump into is about being the only one in the room – for some that’s being the only person of color or the only non-native English speaker or the only non-MBA, etc Can you talk to us about how you have managed to be successful even when you were the only one in the room that looked like you?

I’m fortunate to have my work bestie, Mary, by my side. Together, we form a dynamic duo in any space we enter, bringing our unique perspectives and energies to the table. This partnership not only amplifies our voices but also creates a supportive environment where we can thrive, even when we might stand out.

Our collaboration reminds me that being different is a strength, and it empowers us to inspire others to embrace their individuality as well.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?

As Team Aquarius, we’re passionate about astrology and the transformative power it holds. My journey into astrology began as a personal quest for self-discovery and connection. Over time, I realized that this ancient art form not only helps individuals understand themselves better but also fosters deeper connections with others.

In our practice, we focus on reading energy and using astrology as a tool for guidance. What excites us most is witnessing the ‘aha’ moments when clients recognize their unique strengths and potential. It’s incredibly rewarding to help people embrace their individuality and encourage them to express their true selves.

Our brand is built on a foundation of authenticity, inclusivity, and empowerment. We strive to create a welcoming space where everyone feels seen and valued.

Looking ahead, we have some thrilling developments on the horizon! We recently launched a series of workshops called ‘WTF is Astrology?’ aimed at demystifying this art form and teaching individuals how to read their own charts. These sessions blend theory with hands-on exercises, making astrology accessible and practical for everyone. You can find these workshops on our YouTube channel.

Additionally, we host community events at a local shop where we offer chart and card readings. It’s a wonderful way to connect with others and share the magic of astrology in person.

We’re also excited to announce our book, “Moon Touch”, which serves as a guide to finding sexual pleasure using the moon in one’s chart as a starting point. It’s currently available for sale on our website!

For those seeking deeper insights, we offer an ‘Astro Coaching Program.’ In this program, we meet monthly with our clients to provide support in understanding their horoscopes and planning their life goals.

And don’t miss our podcast, “Astromantics” which features weekly updates on what’s happening in the sky, as well as interviews exploring sex and intimacy through the lens of astrology. Just a heads up—it’s a NSFW podcast! Winks in Coquette

Through all these initiatives, we aim to empower individuals to embrace their uniqueness and enhance their connections with themselves and others.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

1) Empathy: For Mary and me, empathy is the cornerstone of our practice. When we analyze a chart, we essentially put ourselves in our clients’ shoes, seeing their experiences and emotions from their perspective. This allows us to recognize that no one truly wants to do the wrong thing; many simply feel misunderstood.

2) Understanding Human Needs: Our journey has been significantly influenced by the realization that people seek pleasure, connection, and validation. By examining a horoscope, we uncover intimate details about our clients’ lives—often revealing truths they’ve struggled to articulate or fully comprehend themselves. This understanding helps us address their deeper emotional needs.

3) Compassionate Communication: We have honed the skill of compassion, which enables us to share insights about painful moments or feelings with tact and sensitivity. This not only fosters trust with our clients but also creates a supportive environment where they can explore their challenges without fear of judgment.

To all who are early in your journey to becoming badass astrologers, remember to keep going! Be patient with yourself as your knowledge deepens and your favorite themes start to reveal themselves. The field of astrology is vast, with many niches waiting for you to explore.

Connect with other astrologers on social media—there’s a vibrant community out there, and we are amazing! Surrounding yourself with fellow enthusiasts can spark ideas and motivation.

Above all, trust your intuition, listen to your heart, and nurture your soul. If you read charts, you already possess the ability to see the map laid out for you. Let that guidance lead you as you develop your unique voice in this beautiful practice.

Thanks so much for sharing all these insights with us today. Before we go, is there a book that’s played in important role in your development?

There are so many books I could mention, but the most impactful one was “You Were Born for This”- by Chani Nicholas. My incredible “work wife” Mary, who’s a third-generation astrologer, believed in astrology from a young age, while I was raised to view it as something only “unintelligent” or “weak-minded” people would believe in.

Mary, knowing my skepticism, sent me this book, and because I respect her intelligence so much, I agreed to read it. The book’s insights were so informative, accurate, and meaningful that I was captivated. It changed my perspective entirely and ignited my passion for astrology. From that moment, I was all in!
