Meet Teranee Franshá

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Teranee Franshá. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Teranee below.

Teranee, we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?

My MOM!! She is the epitome of foundational affirmatism (did I make that up?) LOL. She’s just that dope! From a very young age she reassured individuality, that it’s ok to be different, unique. and taught me that what is special about me, is that I AM me.

I also, have named my negative thoughts, her name is “Ruth” short for “Ruthless”,….cause she can be cut throat. So, in times I feel her creeping in my thoughts trying to create doubt and I just tell her. “Not today Ruth. Today we are believing in ourselves”. LOL. I say that to quiet my human mind and to allow my spirit to go with what it knows. And I always return to some of the affirmations that my mom and I speak daily to get me back into alignment.

Annnnnd another thing, I don’t listen to everyone’s opinion of me, only those whom I value cause I know they are going to speak from a place of love and eagerness for me to grow.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

Hi Voyagersss, Thank you for taking your time to learn about this ole Ky Gal. I’m Teranee Franshá, Writer, DirectHER ,Actress, amongst many hats….yes y’all, the undiagnosed ADHD is my super power that deems me multifaceted in my areas of passions. However, acting in front of that camera, telling a story that connects with an audience through that 54-75 in screen, is my first love. I’ve shifted into a phase of expansion, as expected, cause I’ve been manifesting and preparing y’all!!! This year I can proudly say that I have smashed the first 2 quarters. I started my 1st quarter with Directing and Co-Directed a series, and my personal projects, while filming as the lead and supporting role in 2 full features. Needless to say, I am absolutely doing, not only what’s in my heart, but what I was born to do.
My partner and I at D8Cinema, oversea a full service production studio and will be looking for interns, students and crew in prospected roles Fall 2024 to prepare for an Allstar lineup of productions coming Spring and Summer 2025 so make sure you all connect with me on all of my socials.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Humm, 3 qualities I believe assists me on my journey are, 1. Self- awareness, knowing that where I am in life is a direct result of my belief in “self” and what I feel I am worth. That my place in my journey is a reflection of the energy I put into my goals. 2. Emotionally accountable-meaning for the most part I’ve always been in tune with my own emotional threshold and extended boundaries when necessary to ensure I don’t get drained. 3. Stay forever learning, keeping my mind open and my discernment on, decipher what resonates with my spirit and always, always follow my gut/intuition, to never go against self and to run through fear. The best advice I would give to anyone on this journey is to ground yourself in a belief system that will act as a foundation of who you are, whether it involves religion , spirituality, etc, develop a positive routine that re-enforces a positive mindset and sometimes, Go with the flow, cause you should know, if it doesn’t flow, issa no.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

I am absolutely looking to partner and collaborate with all things and creatives in film. From Executive producers, producers, Directors, Writers, Actors, DP’s, Gaffers, Editors, Sound Operators, PA’s, AC etc. Stay connected with me on Social platforms Facebook, IG, TicTok, YouTube at TeraneeFranshaOfficial
