Meet Terrell Wallace

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Terrell Wallace. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Terrell, thanks so much for taking the time to share your insights and lessons with us today. We’re particularly interested in hearing about how you became such a resilient person. Where do you get your resilience from?
“I believe my resilience comes from a combination of life experiences, the values instilled in me by my family, and an inner drive to continuously grow and adapt.” This gave me more of an understanding of how successful I want to and to establish goals along my journey.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
“I am profoundly grateful to God for guiding me to where I am in my life today. My aspiration to be a director of photography is not just a career goal; it’s a reflection of my passion and the vision I have for storytelling. Through this journey, I’ve learned the virtues of patience and tolerance, realizing that every challenge is a stepping stone to growth. Above all, it’s my unwavering faith that keeps me anchored, reminding me that with God by my side, every dream is attainable. This whole journey started back in college and I haven’t looked back since.”

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
“Three pivotal skills when pursuing one’s dreams are perseverance, adaptability, and continuous learning. Perseverance keeps you moving forward despite obstacles, adaptability ensures you can navigate changing circumstances, and continuous learning helps you evolve and refine your approach to achieve your goals.”

Looking back over the past 12 months or so, what do you think has been your biggest area of improvement or growth?
I would say my relationship with God has been my biggest area of growth within this past year. In my opinion God is center to everything on this earth. With his love and consistent guidance I wouldn’t be where I am today.
