Meet Terri Litzkow

We recently connected with Terri Litzkow and have shared our conversation below.

Terri, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?
Combination of the influence from my parents and the cultural context of Montana. My work ethic was shaped by the positive influence of your parents, who instilled important values, as well as the cultural environment of Montana, which has fostered a strong work ethic.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
As a wedding officiant minister Terri Ties the Knot is for EVERYBODY! Whether you want a Religious Holy Union, a Christian Non – Denominational or a Spiritual Non – Religious Ceremony we will help create and perform the ceremony of your dreams!

As a real estate agent I am successful, possessing strong marketing and networking skills. Creating impactful marketing strategies, utilizing digital platforms, and leveraging my network. Showcasing properties effectively, and expanding my reach. Building and nurturing professional relationships with other industry stakeholders, such as lenders and contractors, enhances my ability to provide comprehensive service to clients.

I combined wedding officiating and a real estate international property expert into a program called “Kiss to Keys”. From your first kiss to your first set of keys, I helping to write two amazing chapters in peoples book of lives.

Additional additives are wedding cakes and wedding coordinating.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Strong communication, market knowledge, exceptional customer service, negotiation skills, effective marketing and networking, adaptability, and ethical conduct are key components of success in both industries. By continuously honing these skills and embodying these qualities, I can differentiate myself and build a thriving wedding and real estate business, and provide exceptional service to my clients.

Before we go, maybe you can tell us a bit about your parents and what you feel was the most impactful thing they did for you?

The most impactful thing my parents did for me was instilling a strong sense of self-belief and fostering a growth mindset.
From an early age, my parents consistently encouraged me to pursue my dreams and believe in my abilities. They emphasized that with dedication, hard work, and perseverance, I could achieve anything I set my mind to. Their unwavering support and belief in me instilled a deep sense of confidence and resilience.

Moreover, my parents cultivated a growth mindset within me. They taught me to embrace challenges as opportunities for growth, rather than being discouraged by setbacks. They emphasized the importance of continuous learning, pushing boundaries, and viewing failure as a stepping stone towards success. This mindset has empowered me to face obstacles with determination, adapt to new situations, and constantly strive for self-improvement.

Their influence has shaped my perspective on life, enabling me to approach challenges with optimism, resilience, and a willingness to learn.

The impact of their support and guidance has been immeasurable. It has given me the confidence to pursue my goals, overcome obstacles, and embrace opportunities for growth. I am grateful for their unwavering belief in me, as it has played a significant role in shaping the person I am today.
