Hi Tevo, thanks for joining us today. Let’s jump right into something we’re very focused on here – improving our ability to make decisions. Everyday, we’re faced with decisions that can impact the future of our careers, businesses, relationships and more and so one of the most impactful areas for personal development, in our view, is decision-making. Can you talk to us about how you developed or improved your decision-making skills?
I developed my decision making skills by living and learning, realizing that the decisions that you make or choose in life can help or hurt you… Being patient is a huge thing in life also, rushing can have you in a messed up position, I’ve failed & got messed over plenty of times trying to rush into/ or to buy things and most of those s experiences didn’t go well….When I started being patient I started seeing great results…Life teaches lessons, you just can’t overlook them..
Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
I am the CEO of MoneyBagg Empire Music Group & I am also a manager over at County Line Record Label… I am and recording engineer for my team, A&R, Marketing, Promotional manager as well…I wear many hats when it comes to this industry…
I feel like music is exciting all together, I love working close with my artist to make hits and bring there vision to life, I also love the traveling that comes with being in the industry, the networking meeting new people, & the love from fans that’s what really keeps me going…
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
1 of the 3 things that impacted my journey was learning how to be coachable, listening and receiving knowledge from the ones that did it before me…
2nd of 3 things that impacted my journey is STUDYING the music industry…I don’t watch tv, I more so watch interviews, show performances, the way artist move, listen to podcast etc…
3rd for me is being able to brainstorm and insert structure in my life which move over to the music…I really believe in “With Structure Comes Success” That my motto..
What’s been one of your main areas of growth this year?
My biggest area of growth or improvement I would say is Understanding…When you have an understanding of things and how things go, then everything goes smooth because you know kno what to expect…
