Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to The Pierce Twins. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Hello Pierce Twins , looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?
Ever since we were young, we have always been extremely busy. Whether that was playing every sport we could, involving ourselves in all the clubs and honor societies at our school, participating in the arts, keeping good grades, or helping out in our community. Many people ask, “How do you manage it all?”, “How do you not get burnt out?”, “How do you stay interested?” The answer is we keep each other motivated and afloat. We assess our goals for each activity we do and let them motivate us. Even when it gets hard, we keep those goals in mind. It might be hard now, but the end result will be worth it. We work hard so we don’t have regrets and see everything all the way through. Our parent’s have instilled strong values in us from a young age and we give credit to them for our positive mindset and unwavering work ethic.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Three qualities that we value are kindness, gratitude, and generosity. Always be kind to others. Even though it is elementary, practice the golden rule: treat people the way you want to be treated. Always be grateful for the things you have and the opportunities you are given. Not everyone is as fortunate as you are. And lastly be generous. Share your gifts, talents, and kindness with those around you. Starting your journey can be difficult, but look forward with confidence and excitement. Don’t let fear, doubt, or judgement get in the way of doing what you love. As you go along on your journey, practice these qualities and be gracious to everyone that plays apart in it. Surrounding yourself with positive people can help you kick start your adventures with uplifting and good energy. Stay away from negativity as it can consume you and lead you in the wrong direction.

Before we go, maybe you can tell us a bit about your parents and what you feel was the most impactful thing they did for you?
The most impactful thing our parents did for us is their never ending support, constant guidance, and sideline coaching. Our parents where our first coaches. Our mom was our first cheer coach and our dad was our first basketball coach. From those times and on they taught us important life lessons that we carry onto today. They have always supported every decision we’ve made and have been our biggest cheerleaders. Since we were young every time we expressed interest in any activity, sport, or club our parents let us see it all the way through. We are extremely grateful to have the parents we have and wouldn’t have the life or successes we have without them.
