Meet Thuy (Twee) Dinh

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Thuy (Twee) Dinh. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Thuy (Twee), so excited to have you with us today. So much we can chat about, but one of the questions we are most interested in is how you have managed to keep your creativity alive.

I’m a corporate girly working a 9 to 5, so creativity doesn’t always come naturally during my workday. After hours of meetings, screens, and routines, I’ve learned that I need something that feels completely different to stay inspired. That’s why I make space for creative hobbies that let me slow down and reconnect with myself. Content creating became a way for me to tell stories, capture little moments, and see everyday life from a more intentional perspective. Traveling helps me reset my mindset, whether it’s a quick weekend trip or just exploring somewhere new nearby. Being outdoors reminds me to be present, to breathe, and to notice details I usually rush past. All of these things balance out my structured work life and remind me that creativity doesn’t have to be perfect or productive, it just has to feel alive.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?

I create lifestyle and travel content that highlights simple, intentional ways to enjoy life alongside a full time career. What feels most special about my work is how it blends everyday routines with moments of exploration, whether that’s discovering new places, spending time outdoors, or finding joy in small, ordinary experiences. I love showing that creativity can exist in the in between moments and doesn’t have to be loud or perfectly curated to be meaningful.

My brand is centered around balance, curiosity, and presence. I want people to feel encouraged to slow down, get outside, and make time for things that spark joy, even with a busy schedule. Right now, I’m leaning more into travel and outdoor focused storytelling, with plans to continue expanding that side of my content and collaborate on experiences that bring people together around creativity, exploration, and mindful living.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?

Looking back, the three things that made the biggest difference in my journey were consistency, curiosity, and self trust. Consistency taught me that showing up regularly matters more than waiting for perfect ideas or perfect timing. Even on days when motivation was low, continuing to create helped me build confidence, clarity, and momentum over time.

Curiosity pushed me to keep learning and experimenting without putting too much pressure on the outcome. Trying new formats, exploring new places, and asking myself what genuinely excites me helped my work evolve naturally instead of feeling forced. Self trust was the hardest but most impactful skill to build. Learning to listen to my own instincts, set boundaries, and create in a way that feels authentic made everything more sustainable.

For anyone early in their journey, my advice is to start before you feel ready and allow yourself to grow in public. Be consistent in small ways, stay curious about what lights you up, and give yourself permission to change direction as you learn more about yourself. Progress comes from patience, not perfection, and trusting that your voice and perspective are worth sharing.

Before we go, any advice you can share with people who are feeling overwhelmed?

When I feel overwhelmed, I step outside and spend time in nature. Being around trees, fresh air, and open space helps me slow down, clear my head, and release built up stress. It reminds me to breathe, be present, and reset instead of pushing through exhaustion.

My advice is to use nature as a simple reset. Even a short walk, sitting in a park, or watching the sky for a few minutes can help your body and mind calm down and feel grounded again.
