Tia Michele, so great to have you with us and we want to jump right into a really important question. In recent years, it’s become so clear that we’re living through a time where so many folks are lacking self-confidence and self-esteem. So, we’d love to hear about your journey and how you developed your self-confidence and self-esteem.
You know, it took me such a long time for me to gain my confidence. From getting made fun of, to being told that I do “too much”- I was just never enough.
I took time to really learn myself, really took time to take care of myself and trust myself with the respect that I wanted from others. It worked!
Let me also note that my mom is the queen of confidence! Growing up, she was truly my inspiration and aspiration. No one could tell her she wasn’t the best of the best. That’s how I move now.

Sure thing! I’m a full-time corporate woman and also the owner and CEO of Taste Couture, LLC.
My brand is truly unique and so beautiful to me. Our goal is to focus on the ultimate feminine essence . The true beauty and sensuality of a woman. We recently launched our new lingerie line and soft spring line. We will launching our swimwear line in April 2023!
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Resilience, integrity, and resourcefulness for sure.
My biggest advice for anyone is to 1) not make excuses. Either you want it or you don’t. You have to push yourself. You have to be your biggest fan. And 2) be teachable. I’ve learned so much from veterans in this type of business and boutiques. It’s ok to not know everything! It’s not ok to refuse to learn.
Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
Absolutely! I’d love to collaborate with other business owners with great accessory lines! A staple set for us to market to together would be amazing! I’d also love to get into the influencer and marketing spaces. I’m still learning so much about marketing, so collaborating with different experts in those areas is a high priority short term goal for me.
