Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Tiago Pestana. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Tiago, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?

At the end of the day, I believe that every human has a deep purpose within them, but this doesn’t mean it needs to be unidirectional. In my case, my purpose shifts as my experiences and journey evolve. This is what led me to photography and art. My connection with fashion has been evident since my teenage years, and as I delved into photography, both worlds naturally came together.

I believe that my path now is primarily focused on creating with patience and meaning. I want to tell stories through my eyes, not my lens.

I’m focused on creating.

This eagerness to add value doesn’t confine me to any specific area. While I currently identify as a photographer, what drives me is the freedom to explore different fields and blend them to create something unique. The chapter I’m in now is definitely geared toward establishing my core and visual branding, particularly in fashion photography.

In 2025, I’ll be holding my first exhibition in Lisbon, Portugal, with the possibility of another in Los Angeles later.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Curiosity | Humility | Conviction

Never say no without trying and searching.
Always be open-minded to constructive ideas and opinions.
Be proud of your work and trust your instincts.

How would you spend the next decade if you somehow knew that it was your last?

I would say staying true to my creativity while working with clients
