Meet Tianna Duncan

We were lucky to catch up with Tianna Duncan recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Tianna , you’ve got such an interesting story, but before we jump into that, let’s first talk about a topic near and dear to us – generosity. We think success, happiness and wellbeing depends on authentic generosity and empathy and so we’d love to hear about how you become such a generous person – where do you think your generosity comes from?

My Generosity comes from God and my family . I was raised to be a genuine person and not to give if you want / expect something in return but to give from your heart . My Grandmother Mother and Aunt are my biggest examples of generous people. Throughout my childhood I witnessed them help so many people and they never wanted anything in return. They would give clothes , shoes, furniture , Food etc for whoever they saw needed it. At school book fairs my Mom would give me extra money to give my friends so they could buy something too because she knew some kids parents couldn’t afford it.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I am a Nail Artist/ Influencer . I enjoy doing nails as well as creating content and giving tips . I plan to expand my content and become more consistent and more creative with my posts. In the future I plan to become a Instructor I know I have a lot of insights that will help any person interested in doing nails and in the future I will have even more insight and my technique will evolve.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

The three skills you should have are Artistic vision , perseverance and relevance.
Always stay up to date with services and trends even if you don’t offer them you should know how they are done and what the service is . You need to have a vision of what you want your work to be even if you can’t achieve it at the moment you will one day if you don’t give up. Don’t give up I have given up a few times and it got me nowhere of you quit you won’t achieve anything so you have to keep practicing, posting and praying.

What has been your biggest area of growth or improvement in the past 12 months?

My Biggest area of growth was my social media presence. I have been posting better content and photos of my work. I am almost at 1k followers on Instagram. My page was getting 100k views per month for months from my nail content videos alone. I also worked on my marketing strategies I also receive compliments on my Flyers and my work .
