Meet Tierra Fluker

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Tierra Fluker. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Hi Tierra, so excited to talk about all sorts of important topics with you today. The first one we want to jump into is about being the only one in the room – for some that’s being the only person of color or the only non-native English speaker or the only non-MBA, etc Can you talk to us about how you have managed to be successful even when you were the only one in the room that looked like you?

I’m started in corporate America at the age of 24 years of age.
I started In telecommunications and was the only African American in that environment for the next 4 years.
I was taught to learn to work with people from all walks of life from coworkers to clients.
This was able to help me later in life to navigate many environments where no one looked like me.
I am big in being myself and learning from people from all walks of life.
Also, I went to college and took many diversity classes and also cultural diversity courses which taught me to Navigate life.
I only judge people based off character not ethnicity. I don’t see ethnicity, I see a person for who they are morals, values and character.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I’m always evolving as a woman.
I’ve owned my own full service marketing company for the past 12 years .
I have been an Author for 10 years my book series are on Amazon and Barnes and noble.

I started background acting in 2022 in Torrance, CA.
I’ve been doing several background acting gigs
Lately in Dallas Texas where I reside now.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Being adaptable and adjustable in life is imperative and important.

Being resilient, never become stuck and always move forward!

Have a faith that is bigger than you and stay in your faith daily by trusting the process of life!

Tell us what your ideal client would be like?

I enjoy working with clients who are passionate, purposeful and have a strong sense of identity with themselves and have a good work ethic is my ideal client.
