Meet Tierra O’neal

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Tierra O’neal. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Tierra below.

Tierra , so excited to have you with us today. So much we can chat about, but one of the questions we are most interested in is how you have managed to keep your creativity alive.

I draw inspiration from everything, whether it’s music, art, conversations, even spaces I walk into. I also make it a point to experiment and challenge myself, whether it’s trying a new editing technique, exploring fresh content formats, or collaborating with people who push my boundaries.

Lately, I’ve been drawing even closer to God, and that connection has been a powerful source of inspiration. It gives me clarity, direction, and a deeper sense of purpose in everything I create. I’ve also been exploring my inner child, getting back to the activities that I used to love and moments that brought me the purest joy. Whether it’s drawing, dancing, or simply being playful, reconnecting with those parts of myself has been so fulfilling.

On top of that, I’ve made a conscious effort to take care of my body, mentally, physically, and spiritually. Prioritizing wellness in all aspects makes me feel clearer, stronger, and so much more in tune with my creative flow.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?

I am the owner of HeavenlyErra Media LLC, where I provide video editing and content creation services tailored to help businesses and individuals tell their stories visually and effectively. Beyond that, I’m a content creator for my personal brand, HeavenlyErra, where I infuse art into everything I produce, whether it’s for myself or the brands I collaborate with.

Right now, I’m focused on building and expanding my personal brand. It’s important for me to create in ways that resonate with my own passions and vision. While I love helping others bring their ideas to life, I’m learning to balance that with carving out time to nurture my own creative projects. It’s a journey of staying true to myself, making sure I don’t lose my voice in the process of amplifying others’.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

Looking back, three key qualities and skills have truly shaped my journey:

1. A strong relationship with God – My faith has been my foundation, giving me clarity, strength, and a sense of purpose even during challenging times. Even when I fell short. For those early in their journey, I encourage cultivating a relationship with God. Take time for prayer and reflection.

2. Self-awareness – Knowing myself, which includes my strengths, weaknesses, and passions, has been crucial. Self-awareness allows you to stay authentic in who you are and what you create. My advice is to spend time understanding who you are, what drives you, and what holds you back.

3. Resilience and adaptability – This journey is full of twists and turns, and being able to navigate them has made all the difference. Challenges are inevitable, but they’re also opportunities to grow. For those starting out, my advice is to embrace change and failure as part of the process. Stay curious, keep learning, don’t be afraid to pivot when necessary and know that everything doesn’t last forever.

Ultimately, staying grounded in your values, being true to yourself, and remaining open to growth will take you far.

How can folks who want to work with you connect?

Yes, I’m definitely open to collaborations and partnerships! Right now, I’m especially looking for management to help me build and expand my personal brand. I’m looking for someone who truly understands my vision while bringing art into everything I create and can help me take it to the next level while ensuring that I stay authentic to myself.

Beyond management, I’m always excited to work with like-minded creatives, brands, and entrepreneurs who value storytelling, creativity, and innovation. Whether it’s collaborations on artistic projects, content creation, or even community-focused initiatives, I’m all about partnerships that inspire and push boundaries.

If you’re reading this and think we’d be a great fit, I’d love to connect! The best way to reach me is through my email, and you can always stay updated with my work on my social media platforms.
