Meet Tiffani Haslam-Ramírez

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Tiffani Haslam-Ramírez . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Tiffani , looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?
Probably my dad! He has always been so hardworking at his job and taking care of his house. He is also always willing to help others too. My dad taught me the importance of hard work.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
Hello! I own a small jewelry business and also am a social worker. My creative side drives my jewelry business and is such a fun outlet for me. I love designing and making resin earrings. I love consistently coming up with new packing and aesthetics. I have started to grow my online shop and participate in more markets! It brings me joy to share my ideas with you and to see how people love my jewelry as much as I do! I am constantly adding new items to my shop and changing what free items come with every purchase. I also can design custom resin earrings and have loved custom ones I have designed for Bridesmaids.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
I think my most important skills are my ambition, creativity and passion. I love what I do so I never give up even when there is slow progress. My ambition keeps me going after what I want. My creativity helps me come up with new ideas.

Before we go, maybe you can tell us a bit about your parents and what you feel was the most impactful thing they did for you?
My parents always taught me to work hard and go after what I want. They always encouraged me to have a job from a young age and get an education. They both were always so supportive when I started my jewelry business and when I showed them my designs. Unfortunately, my mother passed away almost 4 years ago and even when she was sick she still came to my market. I think she would be really proud of me today with how far my business has grown since then. Love and support to small business owners goes a long way. Sometimes life is hard, but there is so much to be grateful for and you can do anything you want to.
