We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Tiffanie Miner. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Tiffanie below.
Tiffanie, so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?
Finding my purpose came through one of the hardest seasons of my life—struggling with autoimmunity, the weight of unresolved trauma, and the profound frustration of being medically gaslit for over a decade. I felt lost, unheard, and broken in every sense, but those challenges ultimately became the catalyst for my transformation. Through sheer determination and a deep desire to heal, I began exploring holistic approaches to health, diving into the connection between mind, body, and spirit. Each small victory—whether it was calming my symptoms, breaking free from ancestral trauma, or reclaiming my voice—fueled my passion for helping others on similar journeys. What started as a quest to heal myself turned into a calling to empower others to trust their bodies, advocate for themselves, and pursue true healing. My struggles gave me the empathy and understanding needed to hold space for others, and my purpose now lies in being a guide for those who feel lost in their pain, just as I once did. It’s about transforming pain into purpose and using the lessons I’ve learned to inspire hope and healing in others.
Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
After being in the pet industry and owning my own pet grooming business since 2008, I have found new purpose after going through my own healing journey. Over the last 3 years I have gone back to school , deepening my understanding for functional health and herbalism, as well as shaman training and the body’s trauma response. I am currently living in the in between of practical and magical -still operating my grooming salon 3 days a week and offering my healing modalities and private Coaching 3 other days a week. I have been focusing hard on my Rooted Revival Holistics herbal line of health and wellness products, as well as expanding my clean beauty products. I am excited about my new healing location at Mystic Movement where I am offering all of my hands on healing modalities with the addition of Halo Therapy, Red Light Therapy, Pulsed ElectroMagnetic Healing and group classes.
If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Looking back, three qualities that were most impactful in my journey were resilience, self-awareness, and a willingness to learn concepts outside of the mainstream medical box. Resilience allowed me to keep pushing forward even when the path felt impossible, reminding me that healing is not linear and progress often comes in small, steady steps. Self-awareness helped me recognize the patterns, emotions, and beliefs that were holding me back, giving me the clarity to address not just the physical symptoms but the emotional and mental roots of my struggles. Lastly, a willingness to learn opened the door to new tools, perspectives, and holistic approaches that became pivotal in my healing. For those early in their journey, I encourage them to cultivate resilience by focusing on small victories and trusting the process, it doesn’t have to be all or nothing, to practice self-awareness by slowing down and tuning into their body and mind, and to remain open to learning—whether it’s exploring new healing modalities, seeking support from trusted professionals, or even just reading and researching to expand their understanding of their challenges. Growth and healing happen when we embrace these qualities with patience and curiosity.
As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?
One book that has played a pivotal role in my development is The Body Keeps the Score by Dr. Bessel van der Kolk. This book profoundly shifted how I view the connection between trauma and the body. One of the most impactful insights was understanding that trauma isn’t just a memory in the mind but a physiological imprint on the body, influencing our health, emotions, and relationships. This realization helped me recognize how my own unhealed trauma was contributing to my autoimmune conditions and overall well-being. Another valuable takeaway was the emphasis on healing through reconnection—whether through movement, mindfulness, or building safe, supportive relationships. Dr. van der Kolk’s work gave me the tools to see my body not as broken, but as a messenger, guiding me toward healing. It taught me that addressing trauma at its root is essential for true recovery, which has informed not only my personal healing but also how I now help others on their journeys.
