Meet Tiffany Miles

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Tiffany Miles. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Tiffany, so many exciting things to discuss, we can’t wait. Thanks for joining us and we appreciate you sharing your wisdom with our readers. So, maybe we can start by discussing optimism and where your optimism comes from?

In life I have endured so many challenges and loss that to move forward without the most open mind. I have a deep understanding that this is the only life we get and it comes to an end quick, making me move forward knowing that I can make the best of it. Along side of these hard lessons, I know what I’m capable of how hard I will work to get there. Knowing that better is always an option if I keep moving to it!

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I began a lifestyle change journey in the spring of 2018. prior to beginning i was heavy on the cigarettes, enjoyed way too many alcoholic beverages, and overall my lifestyle choices were far from pretty. i have in fact at one point in my life spent a little over a month in jail and another part hospitalized from a suicide attempt. one day in the midst of the mess that was my life i had a deep conversation with someone very important to me that put many things into perspective. I woke the next day with a overwhelming want and will for change. for me. for my daughter. for my family. for my life.

As i advanced and evovled in my journey i became motivated to motivate! i want those who want or need to see that life can be lived at amazing potential with the correct balance, right choices, and a good mindset.

I am a certified personal trainer through ACSM, holding an associate’s degree in applied exercise and fitness from Bryan University. With experience working with a diverse range of individuals, my passion lies in ensuring lifelong health for each person. I strongly believe that everyone deserves to experience life to the fullest, and finding a Balanced personalized path that suits you best is key to maintaining optimal well-being.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

1. being able to show empathy 2. being able to communicate and keep people feeling positive 3. showing up for yourself and being dedicated even on the bad days.

My advice as a folks come into their journey that the first steps are always the hardest, there will be days that make it all seem impossible. Push through those days. Learn the lessons, grow as a human, and take yourself to that next step.

Everyone comes from all walks of life and are facing many things that we will never know. Be understanding but make sure to always stay true to your boundaries. You come first. However, be sure you can connect with others and being open minded with everyone.

Alright so to wrap up, who deserves credit for helping you overcome challenges or build some of the essential skills you’ve needed?

Being able to hear and receive constructive criticism as well as being able to call yourself out. Always stay teachable.
