Meet Tiffany Scott

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Tiffany Scott. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Tiffany , so good to have you with us today. We’ve always been impressed with folks who have a very clear sense of purpose and so maybe we can jump right in and talk about how you found your purpose?

“The wound is where the light enters you.” Rumi

Turning your pain into purpose is equally healing for you and those around you.

My pain was ‘sister wounds’. I was bullied by girls starting from the age of 9, to the point where I had to change schools. Unfortunately, I also was bullied by women in my adult years as well.

A patriarchal society has led women to feel threatened by one another, rather than uplifted by one another.

The judgment and criticism of women run deep and popular culture capitalizes on it with reality TV shows and movies like ‘Mean Girls.’

Thankfully this narrative is changing, however, we still have a long way to go.

My purpose is to unite women. I truly believe women united can change the world.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

My company, You Me She Fest, is on a mission to create the largest celebration of women through women-focused events, an annual music and self-love festival, and spreading the power of sisterhood through our social media channels. When women are united through self-love, sisterhood, and celebration (You Me She Fest’s core values), we find the courage to do brave things.

Those brave things are unique to each woman.

We are braver when we feel seen, safe, and supported in sisterhood. It can be life-changing. I’ve seen it for myself time and time again in women’s communities I’ve developed or been a part of. It’s magical.

In 2024 we created the sold-out Self-Love Gala and the Celebrate Your Cellulite Pool Party in Austin, Texas. These are women-focused events run by women for women. We hire all women-owned businesses and vendors to create these highly curated events, while also centering women of color.

Our events are fully inclusive of anyone who identifies as a woman, including non-binary, and transgender folks.

When women gather in celebration, they re-discover themselves, remember their strength, and that they don’t have to ‘do it all’ alone.

In September 2025 we’ll be hosting the first annual You Me She Festival in Austin, Texas. You’ll hear live music by female artists, women lead workshops on mind, body, spirit, self-love, and wealth, inspiring keynote speakers, and a variety of women-run markets.

This is the first of its kind, where women will be free to explore all the unique parts of themselves in the safety of sisterhood.

Every detail is thought of, from the security, AV, food, and beverage vendors, and property owners all women-owned or run.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?

If you want to turn your purpose from passion and into a business that can affect change, in my opinion, you need these 3 things.

1. A clear mission and vision.
Your purpose is like a magnet. It’s constantly pulling you. You HAVE to do it. Even when you try to put it aside it keeps finding you. A crystal clear vision and mission help you define your purpose. For example You Me She Fest’s vision is: ‘Create the largest celebration of women in the world.’ Our mission is: Build the largest women-focused annual festival in the world that unites women through self-love, sisterhood, and celebration.
Your vision and mission will help you with #2!

2. Resilience
Creating change takes courage. Running a business or organization is not for the faint of heart. Your vision and mission will help you on the tough days when you question your sanity, and when hurdles knock you down. Your vision creates resilience, it will override any doubt, and you’ll keep moving forward.

3. Support
Surround yourself with people who cheer you on, pick you up, and dust you off when it gets hard. Business advisors, mentors, therapists, sisterhood. You cannot and are not meant to do this on your own. We are always better together. Curate your team!

Bonus Advice
Learn to trust your intuition. Be still, take things slowly, and trust yourself. This takes time, you have to unlearn many things and make mistakes, but you will always be your best guide.

One of our goals is to help like-minded folks with similar goals connect and so before we go we want to ask if you are looking to partner or collab with others – and if so, what would make the ideal collaborator or partner?

As per tip #3, we are always looking for ways to partner with people who align with our vision and values. To create the largest celebration of women takes a village.

If you’re reading this and feel inspired to contribute please reach out and let us know how you think you could add value. We are currently 100% volunteer-run.

We also have sponsorship opportunities for our 2025 festival. If your business or you know a business that would be a great fit for our festival we have unique ways to showcase your brand and create avid fans from our audience of women.
