We recently connected with Tigresse Bleu and have shared our conversation below.
Tigresse, we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
I wish I could say that it came over night or that it happened fast. I wish I could say that I always knew and that I stuck to it through. But my truth is that while my younger self did know, I grew away from that truth.
I was able to reclaim my purpose through patience and grounding. I moved pain and trauma out of my body- literally moved. I found dance. I found spirit through tarot. I found my voice through honing in on my long lost first love, poetry.
I say ‘found’ but what it truly felt like was a remembering, a coming home to what the little me always knew and wanted to be.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
My work is highly focused on evoking the creative spirit, healing our communities, healing the Earth, and healing from within.
I view my focus or path in life is to be an energy that shares my story as well as help to elevate and inspire others to do the same in their own divine way. We all have important stories to tell. Far too often do we fear sharing ourselves with the world in an authentic way. I feel that it is my duty in this lifetime to be a mirror and show people that they can be themselves safely.
As a diviner, dancer, performance artist, and poet professionally, my work revolves around these values. Through my art, I wish for people to see the divinity within themselves. It’s what I believe the people that I am inspired by have done for me.
Bookings for any of the activations, services, and performances I offer can be found through the link on my Instagram. Please check it out if you find that we align.

There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
Three qualities that I believe have helped me throughout my journey are:
1) Gratitude. The more that I give thanks to the forces outside of myself, the more I am able to connect deeper to life. Spirit is in any and everything. It’s all around us. It’s a constant energy, a flow so subtle yet poignant that we can tap into if we try. Practicing gratitude gives me strength and it helps me to remain positive, especially in the face of adversity.
2) Obsession. You could also call it curiosity or passion but at the end of the day, if it doesn’t excite me then I don’t want it. If I am not delving into endless amounts of information and knowledge, then I question if it’s something I want to do or dedicate more time to. By diving deep into the waters of the subjects or hobbies I had an interest in, the more I found I could breathe. I followed my instincts and it has led me to a happier and more fulfilling path.
3) Honesty. I needed to be real with myself about what I wanted out of life, no matter how different that looked from my peers or the original vision I had for myself. I had to be honest about my shadows, my doubts, and fears in order to reach the light and to reach my version of success.

Before we go, any advice you can share with people who are feeling overwhelmed?
I am a passionate person. I have leaned into saying “yes” in life, which is beautiful thing. But I do believe that life requires balance and I have had to learn how to slow down in some cases and get to know my “no”.
By saying yes to everything, it weakens the boundaries. Eventually, it wears on the mind, body, and soul. When I am overwhelmed by my natural ability to say yes, I check in with my spirit, my heart, my vessel and how I feel in that moment. It is important to slow down and ground. It is important to know when you need to say no whether that is to a distraction, a client, or task. Pausing to take care of yourself and to refill your cup should always take priority. Some days I feel as though I am still growing through this.
Another grounding exercise that I love is a walk or a hike. Nature is always reenergizing, recentering, and a reminder that life is simple and beautiful.
