Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Timothée Lambert. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Timothée, we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?
My best artistic fulfillments come from true interest, passions I took several years to develop, without really caring about other people point of view. From listening to what I liked, I could develop a work that helped me being understood and loved by my communities. I really enjoy this introverted way to participate, through creating your own world and inviting people to discover it.
Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I was born in Lyon in 1997. I learned painting first, then did graffiti in my home city. It brought me to Paris EnsAD school, then to Communication Studies in Sciences Po, a well reknown Paris school of Politics and Business. I worked with music artists, cultural institutions, luxury brands and theaters. From a deep knowledge of images-making, and an open-eye on new trends, I help develop visual communication and to integrate it in the Company’s strategy. Creativity in a very important part of the added-value you can create, brands will more and more become their own media. I have a good knowledge of all the process from iconography to income statements, passing by directing movies, motion designs, visual identities and event planning.
I have the project to develop my network between Paris and New York. I am very eager to help companies, artists and institutions in their adaptations, by respecting their convictions as much as environmental sustainability and social justice.
On my side, I recently released a music EP on the name Timo. It is called “OTO” and tells the story of my teenage years through pop and hip-hop influences. I am also the co-director of a new kind of show, merging Cabaret arts and Contemporary Musics. It is called Cabaret Métamorphoses.
Please come meet me on Instagram at @timo_millefacies or at @cabaret.metamorphoses! Let’s drink a coffee while you pass through Paris, or in the future when I’ll visit New York, or any other city you are from.
Timothee
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Finding the good collaborator for your project. Being able to understand different positions and backgrounds.
Doing what you love without ever counting hours!
I think people should not be afraid of exploring new pathes if their heart ask them to, life is more a nice park to visit than a straight line.
Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
I would be very pleased to meet Artists, or Brand executives that feel the necessity of developing their artistic production. everything is possible, cross-medias is more and more important nowadays : your music can be displayed in a short movie, as well as your brand can become the producer of a show or an event to reach new customers.
I have my own network in Paris, a growing network and a very deep knowledge of arts. Come develop your universe with me, and let’s start with a discussion!
