Meet Tina Hannaford

We were lucky to catch up with Tina Hannaford recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Tina, we’re so appreciative of you taking the time to share your nuggets of wisdom with our community. One of the topics we think is most important for folks looking to level up their lives is building up their self-confidence and self-esteem. Can you share how you developed your confidence?
Set realistic goals and achieve them. When you set goals and achieve them, it gives you a sense of accomplishment and boosts your confidence. Start with small goals that you are confident you can achieve, and then gradually work your way up to larger goals.

Network with other real estate professionals. Networking with other professionals is a great way to learn from others and build your confidence. Attend industry events, join online forums, and connect with other real estate agents on social media.

Take care of yourself. When you take care of your physical and mental health, you will have more energy and focus to succeed.

Be positive and optimistic. A positive attitude can go a long way in boosting confidence. Focus on your strengths and believe in yourself.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
As a Real Estate Professional, my focus is to assist sellers in preparing their homes for sale so that they may obtain top dollar in a competitive market. I work hard to create a personalized and dynamic marketing strategy for each home that I sell. Your home is likely your most valuable asset, and you should work with an agent that treats it as such and an agent that takes ownership.

Specializing in homes that didn’t sell first or second time around. It takes a proficient real estate professional to assess what adverse market factors caused the home not to sell and to determine what strategy must be employed that results in a successful sale.

On the personal side: Dog mom to three beautiful pups, Charlie, Jackson and Georgie. Love history, old architecture and photography. Favorite places to visit, Sedona, Maui and Coronado Island, San Diego

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Get a real estate coach.

Knowledge of the local market.

Practice, practice, practice. The more you practice, the better you will become at communicating, negotiating, and understanding the market.

Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?
First I would say my husband Rob Hannaford. He’s been in real estate for over 30 years and his knowledge is so beneficial for me in many ways. If I have issues we talk about them and how to work through it all.

Besides my husband, I also have a real estate coach through Tom Ferry who mentors, guides and helps me achieve my goals. I think this is mandatory!
