We caught up with the brilliant and insightful Tisha Janigian a few weeks ago and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Tisha, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?
As the Broker/Owner of SHE IS HOPE Realty, I have established a distinguished boutique brokerage grounded in unwavering principles of superior and personalized client service, the highest degree of integrity, and an unyielding commitment to going the extra mile to meet our clients’ needs, treating them with the care and consideration befitting family. At SHE IS HOPE Realty, we aspire to be the epitome of excellence in the real estate industry.

My entrepreneurial upbringing, under the guidance of my parents, instilled in me a profound understanding of the significance of work ethic and the golden rule—to treat others as I wish to be treated. This ethos forms the bedrock of our brokerage, shaping the character and ethos of every member of the SHE IS HOPE Realty team.

My team of agents not only upholds the highest standards of customer service and integrity but also shares a deep-seated commitment to giving back to the community and what differentiates us from other brokerages. Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
In addition to our commitment to clients, the SHE IS HOPE Realty team is deeply involved in the real estate community, Over the years, my team has served on various committees and been part of affiliate real estate organizations. In 2024, I am serving on the Board of Directors for the Southland Regional Association of Realtors, with the Women’s Council of Realtors California as a District Vice President, and with the California Association of Realtors on Transaction & Regulatory, Home Ownership Housing, and Fair Housing Policy committees. I also serve as the President of my Business Networking International (BNI) Chapter. In 2023, I was the recipient of the 2023 Women’s Council of Realtors Humanitarian Award and the Bobbie Nelson Award, President of the Women’s Council of Realtors Los Angeles Network and 2022 President-Elect, 2023 SRAR Grievance Committee Member, 2023 SRAR Event Committee Member, 2023 SRAR Realtor Expo Task Force, have Performance Management Network (PMN) Military Relocation Professional (MRP) Certification, Probate Certification and Green Certification. In 2022, I was 1 of 5 Realtors in the Nation to be a recipient of the NAR Volunteering Works Program, and Chair of the SRAR Equal Opportunity, Housing & Diversity Committee. In 2021, I served on the SRAR Equal Opportunity & Housing Committee, Co-Chair of the Fair Housing and Diversity Sub-Committee, member of the Senior Event Sub-Committee and Home Buyer Sub-Committee. As an agent during my tenure at Pinnacle Estate Properties, I was awarded Top Sales and with other companies, I was awarded Top Sales & Service as well as Top Salesperson. This level of involvement is a testament to our dedication to staying at the forefront of industry knowledge, ensuring that our clients benefit from the latest insights and practices. There is so much advice out there about all the different skills and qualities folks need to develop in order to succeed in today’s highly competitive environment and often it can feel overwhelming. So, if we had to break it down to just the three that matter most, which three skills or qualities would you focus on?
The 3 most important qualities and skills in the real estate profession is to be honest/genuine, continually learn and grown in the industry by getting involved with your local Board of Realtors and other affiliate real estate organizations, and to differentiate yourself.
