We were lucky to catch up with Tocarra Owens recently and have shared our conversation below.

Hi Tocarra , appreciate you sitting with us today to share your wisdom with our readers. So, let’s start with resilience – where do you get your resilience from?

My resilience undeniably comes from God. His Word strengthens me, reminding me that He wouldn’t have given me these gifts if there wasn’t a purpose for them. I know that if God is within me, then failure isn’t an option. With Him, I have everything I need to fulfill my purpose. So, no matter what challenges come my way, I stand firm, knowing that His power is working through me!

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?

I am, first and foremost, a Child of God, and everything I do is rooted in my faith. As the CEO of Npowered Hand Sanitizers, a life coach, a motivational speaker, and the founder of the Theresa Bryan Foundation Nonprofit Organization, my mission is to inspire, uplift, and empower others to grow in faith, purpose, and confidence. My work is focused on making a true impact through my words, my business, and my nonprofit efforts.

What excites me most about this journey is the opportunity to give God all the glory for the great works He has done in and through me. I am deeply grateful to be one of His chosen vessels, using my gifts to serve others and make a lasting difference.

Currently, Npowered Hand Sanitizers is undergoing an exciting transformation. We have recently rebranded and are in the process of relaunching and expanding worldwide. We are also forming powerful connections with various companies and organizations to spread our mission to a broader audience. In addition to offering high-quality sanitizing products that nourish and protect the skin, we are working on new initiatives that will further serve and uplift our community.

There are significant changes on the horizon, and I couldn’t be more excited or thankful for what’s to come!

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Throughout my journey, three key qualities have been instrumental in shaping my path and success:
1. Faith & Resilience – My unwavering faith in God has been my anchor through every challenge. Resilience isn’t just about enduring hardships, it’s about trusting that God’s plan is greater than any obstacle. My advice to those starting: Build a strong spiritual foundation. Stay rooted in prayer, surround yourself with people who uplift you, and trust that even setbacks are divine setups for something greater.
2. Vision & Purpose-Driven Leadership – A clear vision and alignment with purpose have kept me focused, even in uncertain times. To those beginning their journey, I encourage you to seek clarity on your “why.” What drives you? What impact do you want to make? Write it down, declare it over your life, and move with intention. When you are purpose-driven, distractions lose their power over you.
3. Adaptability & Growth Mindset – Success requires continuous learning and the ability to pivot when necessary. I’ve learned to see every experience whether a win or a lesson as valuable. My advice: Stay open to growth. Invest in yourself through books, mentorship, and experiences that stretch you. Don’t fear change; embrace it as an opportunity for expansion.

Final Thought: No matter where you are in your journey, remember your gifts and purpose were placed in you for a reason. Stay faithful, stay focused, and never stop growing.
