Meet Tony Luna

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Tony Luna. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Tony with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
100% from my dad. He was totally a workaholic and so am I.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I never stop thinking. From My Real estate Career to playing music in my band, my mind just never stops. I so enjoy helping people succeed and I have never felt like I was in competition with anyone. And once I get focused I can not stop until the job is complete. I have been in Real Estate for 25 years now and I have made so many friends and I truly think of “clients” more as friends. I am not a salesperson but my love for my community seems to come thought when I talk to people and I think that is why my real estate career has been a good one for me.
A few years ago, I decided I needed a hobby so I purchased a camera and watched every single video on Youtube about taking pictures. A year later I got published in a couple magazines with my “Pinup” style photos. I mostly just do landscape photography now around Center Hill Lake. Photography has definitely help me control my mind because I have to slow down my thinking.
I love music and I have been around musician for a long time. So it felt natural for me to play in a band. We don’t get to play much because of the lack of time but it has been amazing for me to find another outlet for my brain.
Three years I got the idea of a cool, almost retro style mens store. After talking it over with my wife, Sommer, we came up with a name and open the store that we named, The Male Room. The store has become an anchor store in downtown Smithville Tennessee and a destination for anyone visiting Center Hill Lake.
As an adopted kid at the age of 7, I have always felt like I need to prove I am worthy and I guess that is another driver for me to keep trying to improve myself and my community.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
I just never stop learning. I love to learn new things and I am not afraid of trying. My advice to anyone is stay focused. Figure out what you want to do and stay focused until you get what you want. Never ever stop.

What is the number one obstacle or challenge you are currently facing and what are you doing to try to resolve or overcome this challenge?
Time….. I wish I had more time to do more for my wife, my community, and myself.
