Hi Tony, thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?
There are so many people who has helped paved away for my success, starting with the most high god! both my parents. My father was extremely strict on me growing up, I am so thankful for it now because it created a very disciplined personality. I have been blessed to learn from so many great mentors in the Business it’s hard to learn to name them all. My life journey has carried me around the world and back. For the pass 10 years one of my truest and most loyal friend is Kevin Gibson, he is a recording artist as well as song writer based in Atlanta, GA.
Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?
I have been involved in various entities in the entertainment industry, Artist Management, Production, Models Management, Producers management, along with Short Film Directing, special Event Sponsoring and charity Fund raising. My latest venture is film, People Of Color Films Networks is a independent motion picture production company whose aim is to develop and produce independent films of many genre that appeal to a diverse group of young adult and family audiences. Our goal is to deliver captivating feature-length films with an emotional impact and entertaining at the same time.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Number 1, you have to be an extremely Focus person, without focus you will not be able to keep your priority in order. Number 2.Discipline ‘ this keep you on task every single day and void of distractions. Number 3. Creative ‘ in the business of entertainment, it is very competitive, you have to always study new trends & technology’s to say competitive with your contemporaries.
As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?
I can give you guys three books that I have read that has had a huge impact on me and my development . 1. Frames Of Mind by Howard Gardner 2. The Millionaire Mind & 3. The Art Of Doing.
