Meet Trap Drumma

We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Trap Drumma. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Trap below.

Hi Trap , thanks for sharing your insights with our community today. Part of your success, no doubt, is due to your work ethic and so we’d love if you could open up about where you got your work ethic from?
It started in the house for me i watched my mom and dad do what they had to and even extra to provide a good life for me and my sister. My dad would show me in many differnt areas of life that hard work gets you the things you need and want in life. As i got older my own desire to be great started to push me because of what i wanted to become.

Great, so let’s take a few minutes and cover your story. What should folks know about you and what you do?
I am a music producer and a artist manger for title purposes but i consider myself more of a play maker or dot connector. I already had trap drumma productions going but i have recently started an artist management company called true development managment (tdmc). I saw early on that to be succeful in the music business being able to solve problems or connect dots got you in rooms and helped you make relationships so this is my new baby! Over here at tdmc we focus on the artist as a whole, career wise and life wise. Our aim is to help the artist in anyway we can to bring their dream to life. We are about family vibes over here we want you to be a star but also healthy in mind body and spirit hence “true development”.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Life its self has been one of the biggest teachers tbh because you see in real time weather you made a good choice or bad choice based on where your trying to go. My parents have been very influential as well walkin with me on this journey from a listening ear to teachin me things. My advice to anybody early in the journey would be to take it slow and try to enjoy it. Track your progress and always remain honest with yourself. The honesty portion is how you grow. But def take take it slow you learn so much on your journey to your goal. Somethings you learn you didnt anticipate but you needed to learn it

What’s been one of your main areas of growth this year?
My character! Being in business you have to have the character to handle what might come at you cuz you never know and everyday can have its own challenges
