Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Travis Ware. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Travis , we’re thrilled to have you on our platform and we think there is so much folks can learn from you and your story. Something that matters deeply to us is living a life and leading a career filled with purpose and so let’s start by chatting about how you found your purpose.
Thankfully, I found my purpose at the young age of 16. Growing up I loved everything about the entertainment industry from events, red carpets, reality shows, etc. I knew that one day I would be on the industry. Didn’t at the time know how it would happened but it happened and when it did it made me happy. It was my safe place and my most comfortable space where I felt I could truly be me.
Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
I am a television personality that has appeared on many reality shows and talk shows such as TSWDFL (Season 1-3), Chasing Atlanta (Season 4, The Group Chat (Seasons 1-2), and a upcoming show on BET. I currently also on the social media manager for a few celebrities. Being a self employed has taught me to create many streams of income while doing what I love to do.
Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
The three qualities that have continued to make me successful in this industry is being consistent, networking, and most importantly listening. It may sound simple but many have struggled to do those simples everyday skills in this business. My advice to anyone would be to not give up even when you feel that your talents are not being recognized. Continue to master your task and being consistent with it and it will pay off.
Before we go, maybe you can tell us a bit about your parents and what you feel was the most impactful thing they did for you?
The most impactful thing my parents did was support me. Having the approval from your parents and the support is very much needed and honestly has given me the boost to continue to do what I do. The simple words “I’m proud of you” from your parents is very powerful because ultimately we all want to make our parents proud of us no matter our age.
