Meet Trent Harris

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Trent Harris . We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

Trent, looking forward to learning from your journey. You’ve got an amazing story and before we dive into that, let’s start with an important building block. Where do you get your work ethic from?
Having a strong work ethic is something that is very dear and important to me. Watching my dad wake up every morning to go to work and be at work all day to take care of our family meant a lot to me. I value having a strong work ethic because it’s who I am today. Working hard is how you make progress and making progress is how you obtain your goals in life.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
I own a film production company called ThunderBuddies Film. My goal is to become a director in television and film in the industry. I also love to tell stories and work with a lot of creative people. It made sense to create my own opportunities and give opportunities to others while all of us our pursing out dream. I’m currently writing more projects to film starting in 2024. My latest feature is called The Takeover.

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Work Ethic Patience
Being humble

If your just starting out give yourself grace and keep going. Times will be hard and times will be great. It’s all about how bad do you want it.

Who has been most helpful in helping you overcome challenges or build and develop the essential skills, qualities or knowledge you needed to be successful?
I would say the team of people around me have been the most helpful to me in my development. My friend Brian and Bernard have helped me overcome so many challenges as a filmmaker and as a man. Work with people who want the same thing you want and win as a team.
