Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to Trina. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.
Alright, so we’re so thrilled to have Trina with us today – welcome and maybe we can jump right into it with a question about one of your qualities that we most admire. How did you develop your work ethic? Where do you think you get it from?
Growing up my parents always emphasized on how important hard work is. My parents are two of the most hardworking people that I know, both having their own companies. That has always inspired me to put in the work for the things that I want to accomplish in my own life. When I was younger they were always telling me to put my all into every single thing that I do, and til this day that is still something that I do. I believe having a good work ethic gets you so far in life, and it does not go unnoticed.

Thanks for sharing that. So, before we get any further into our conversation, can you tell our readers a bit about yourself and what you’re working on?
Hey, I’m Trina and I’m a Senior Design major and Content Creator! I actually graduate this next May and I am so excited. I have loved being in college and all of the memories and friends I have made, but I am ready to explore everything else life has to offer after it. My content is focused around the gym, fashion, and my life! I love sharing behind the scenes of what I do and my thought process for things such as staying motivated in the gym. I can’t wait to get to pursue my content and art more full-time after I graduate. My art is something that I have recently become more passionate about, and it shows. My art style is very fun, bright colors, and intriguing. I am just excited to see where 2026 takes me.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Three qualities that I believe were most impactful on my journey was resilience, drive, and creativity. When you are a part of this world, there are many times where you are going to feel discouraged or that you lost who you are. It is so important to be resilient and keep pushing so that you can discover all the good that you have waiting for you. Going along with that, is having drive. Being driven in what you do is going to take you so far. It allows you to not rely on anyone else to get you somewhere. It is you versus you, and self-motivation to get you where you want to be. And last but not least, is creativity. This might sound like a given, but it’s really not. When I say be creative, I mean be resourceful and use what you have until you get what you want. So many people focus on not having the right equipment, or not living where they want to, or whatever it is, that they are too scared to even start. But at some point you just HAVE to start, and get creative with how you do it. Some of the most successful people started with $1oo in their bank accounts, the world is yours if you figure out what to do with it.

What’s been one of your main areas of growth this year?
My biggest area of growth in my life in the past 12 months has been: simply not caring. And I don’t mean not caring about what I do or myself, I mean not caring what other people think. I know we’ve all heard it a million times when people say “just don’t care what they think”, but your life really does change when you implement that. It might have taken me 21 years but now I wouldn’t have it any other way. By doing so, it helped me discover more of who I am, what I like to do, and in turn I became more successful. Because once you stop caring, you create more freely, and authenticity will always out-perform cookie-cutter content. So, this is your sign to go into the new year not caring what anyone has to say! It is going to be hard at first, but the more you do it, the easier it becomes.
