We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Tristan Boston. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Tristan below.
Tristan, thanks so much for taking the time to share your insights and lessons with us today. We’re particularly interested in hearing about how you became such a resilient person. Where do you get your resilience from?
My resilience comes from the almighty creator. Every opportunity and closed door are a promotion or protection from God. I’ve always felt we are spiritual beings experiencing human existence. What keeps me going are the calling and promise gifted in my heart. We all have different destinies and having the discernment to identify life’s validations, warnings and guidance help insure you’re on the right path. My faith lifestyle has led me to believe everything happens for you beyond our understanding. There’s unprecedented strength in super natural anointing when you live by faith and hope.

Let’s take a small detour – maybe you can share a bit about yourself before we dive back into some of the other questions we had for you?
Over the years I’ve produced music with indie/major artists, production studios, sync houses, publishing companies and media platforms. It’s exciting to be a dream weaver for writers and myself. There’s something special about becoming the person you’ve always wanted to meet and truly a blessing to offer experience for fellow creatives, inspiring uplifting empowerment.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
Three qualities, skills or areas of knowledge that were most impactful are learning your craft and business. Our unique journeys certainly play a huge role with harboring skills to solidify your place in the industry. Another priceless skill is time management. Life is short, where you spend precious time (practice, partying, etc.) effects your longevity. Lastly, a great area of knowledge are personalities. Aside from talent or experience, folks want a healthy working environment so if you’re toxic, hard to get along with, negative, etc., you’ll need therapy or more effective ways to be a team player. Best advice I could give is to be a people person. You can’t please everyone however your authentic energy will attract the right people.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
Partnerships and collaborations are key. I’m always looking for ways and people to connect with. Any professional seeking music, networking, insights, etc., my door’s always open. The future is convenience. Entertainment is constantly evolving and I’m all about co-branding and cross promotions. Ultimately, we’re all in this together.
