Meet TU

Alright – so today we’ve got the honor of introducing you to TU. We think you’ll enjoy our conversation, we’ve shared it below.

TU, we’re so excited for our community to get to know you and learn from your journey and the wisdom you’ve acquired over time. Let’s kick things off with a discussion on self-confidence and self-esteem. How did you develop yours?

The confidence and self-esteem that I possess comes from being overlooked. Seeing who they picked before me was the catalyst for self love. Often confused with arrogance by those who’ve yet embrace the good the bad and the ugly we all carry on a daily basis. Once I realize that their outward projections was the true inner perception of oneself, it forced me to be aware of what I put out. My confidence doesn’t make me better it only makes me, me.

Appreciate the insights and wisdom. Before we dig deeper and ask you about the skills that matter and more, maybe you can tell our readers about yourself?

My name is TU F4 (TU) I hail from the great state of Alabama from a Magic City known as Birmingham. Rooted in a deep sense of community restoration in progress my brand reflects such up bringing aimed at reaching Your Highest Altitude also know as YHA. I’m a southern hip hop/rap artist as well as a military combat veteran ( yes I were the big boots). The music I make is crafted to infiltrate your emotional cortex to invoke all feelings weather good bad or indifferent not to mention the overload of motivation you will feel as well. I’ve appeared on an series on Tubi called “Heir Wars” where i brilliantly portrayed “Pistol Pete” whose character faced similar challenges coming from Birmingham Alabama. My journey as allowed to me grace stages with the likes of Bone Thugs N Harmony and Devin The Dude including performances at the BET Awards. The coming new year is set to offer more opportunities in both music and film, so stay tuned and remember “Blood Don’t Make You F4MILY, Loyalty Does”. IT TIS Tha F4M

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?

Determination if first and foremost. Figure out what you want to do and go all in. Allow nothing or no one to deter you from what you want.

Confidence is next. You have to know that You Can Do It. To believe and to know are not the same. To believe is to doubt, to know is truth. Time is irrelevant when your confidence is God level.

Lastly everyone gets tried but not everyone quits. There’s no easy path to your success and your journey isn’t their journey. Be prepared but also expect the worse and hope for the best in all that you do

As we end our chat, is there a book you can leave people with that’s been meaningful to you and your development?

One of the first book that I read 48 laws of power. Its gives real historic account of defending, gaining, and observing power. A few laws that standout to me are Law 1: never outshine the master. Your arrogance or your skill can and will make you a threat and possibly cost you, your life. Law 28: Enter action with boldness. Simply put if you going to do you got to do it as if it’s your last chance at greatness.
