We’ve been together as a gay couple for over 17 years, and our passion for exploring different places and cultures grew stronger with time. It all began when we started traveling together even before our relationship started. One trip to Japan changed everything for us. The positive impact of Japanese culture sparked something in us, and we realized that traveling wasn’t just about having fun anymore. It became our purpose. As a computer engineer and a psychologist, we decided to leave our careers behind and embark on a long journey around the world. Along the way, we started a travel blog to share our experiences and tips with others. With each trip, our passion for travel and inspiring others grew. Now, as we prepare to get married and go on a year-long honeymoon around the world, it’s clear to us that we’ve found our purpose – to travel and inspire others to do the same, regardless of their circumstances. There’s no right or wrong way to travel; everyone should do it if they want to.

If you had to pick three qualities that are most important to develop, which three would you say matter most?
When reflecting on our journey as Two By The World, three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that have been most impactful are collaboration, creativity, and cultural awareness. Collaboration has been essential in leveraging our strengths as a team to plan our travels, manage our blog and social media platforms, and create engaging content. Creativity has allowed us to share our travel experiences in unique and captivating ways, from crafting blog posts to capturing photos and videos that resonate with our audience. Cultural awareness has been fundamental in fostering meaningful connections with people from diverse backgrounds and navigating different cultural contexts with respect and sensitivity. These qualities have been instrumental in shaping our journey as travel bloggers and inspiring others to explore the world with an open mind and heart.
