We’re excited to introduce you to the always interesting and insightful Ty Ballion. We hope you’ll enjoy our conversation with Ty below.
Hi Ty, great to have you with us today and excited to have you share your wisdom with our readers. Over the years, after speaking with countless do-ers, makers, builders, entrepreneurs, artists and more we’ve noticed that the ability to take risks is central to almost all stories of triumph and so we’re really interested in hearing about your journey with risk and how you developed your risk-taking ability.
Going through difficult life changes made me break out of my shell and really find out what I wanted to do, in a way I’m grateful for the opportunities it has opened for me because now I can just think I can do anything if I put my best effort to it. Acting was one of the bigger risks I took in my life and I’m blessed to choose it.

Thanks, so before we move on maybe you can share a bit more about yourself?
My name is Ty Ballion, I’m 28 years old and am an aspiring actor based in the Midwest, I travel to Chicago and St. Louis for most of my gigs, I also am in various podcasts and interviews. I’d have to say one of the most exciting moments for me is meeting all the cool, amazing people and the golden advice they have given me. I was recently a lead role for a horror short film “SNAP” on Youtube I believe it’s an interesting watch if you’d like to!

Looking back, what do you think were the three qualities, skills, or areas of knowledge that were most impactful in your journey? What advice do you have for folks who are early in their journey in terms of how they can best develop or improve on these?
Patience, integrity, and respect for others. Treat everyone exactly how you would like to be treated because I promise nobody is better than another on this beautiful Earth, also learn how to read and understand people in the industry to better you own skills and persona.

Okay, so before we go we always love to ask if you are looking for folks to partner or collaborate with?
I’m currently looking for representation or an agent to help boost my career and provide me with better and bigger auditions, I have a good resume and demo reels to show my skills along with my bartending experience, I have plenty of on set experience from backrounds on Chicago T.V. shows to leading in my first short horror film in St. Louis. I have a Google page showing all of my credentials I’ll post in links at the end, “Ty Ballion” on Google!
